I recently visited Royal Guard Fish & Chips and was impressed by the excellent customer service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the experience enjoyable. The food was a bit greasier than I prefer, but it wasn’t bad just heavier than expected. The portions were generous, and the flavors were there, but a little less oil would have made it even better. Overall, it’s a decent spot with great service, and I’d consider giving it another try!

We have been eating at this restaurant for 40+ years! The owners may have changed but it is still the best fish and chips. More of a take out kinda place but there is seating. The staff is very friendly!

Used to love this place. But now the menu is too large and the fish suffers. Seriously should go back to focusing on fish and chips . Very disappointed
Food was freshly friend and did NOT leave me sick as I would have thought (due to all the fried-ness of the food)
Fish was decent quality along with the fried shrimp and scallops.
Only issue was the drink refirdgerator was not working and they were selling warm bottled soft drinks + some menu items were not available due to running out/ lack of ingredients
The inside is pretty nifty though, they did try to make it feel like a dim English pub
