Very good meal. Enjoyed the prompt service. The pastrami sandwich was excellent, as was the chocolate mousse cheesecake.

The staff were friendly but it couldn't make up for the old tasting food. We only tried the matzo ball soup, hot dog and knish though. Maybe the sandwiches are better. The pickles were delicious!!!

Waited 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches… only for them to tell me they’re busy in the back… completely wasted my time. At least I saved $40 for 2 sandwiches. Avoid at all costs

Save your time and money

Pleasantly surprised and impressed!! We stumbled into this deli after looking at several other restaurants in the shopping center (the others didn’t have fresh brewed iced tea). When we walked in we thought it was a counter to go type deli. Once we found out they had real fresh brewed iced tea we decided to look at the menu and then we found out there’s booths and it’s an actual restaurant!!! My husband and I eat out for lunch & dinner every meal…. This place should be a 4.75 ⭐️ diner!!!! I’ve never had pancakes so delicious in my life. They came with REAL 100% PURE MAPLE syrup. The omelette I ordered had avocado, zucchini and mushrooms with egg whites…. It was so healthy and delicious!!! My husband ordered the hungry man breakfast and everything on his 2 plates was amazing.

the prices here are crazy, three dollars for a 12 ounce bottle of water?

Stopped for lunch on our way home from Pennsylvania, delicious and they have tots so that's a plus. Tater tots as an option 👍

Great Texan burger and curly fries with a root beer. We also got some pickles for an appetizer, the one I had was a bit sour but it was good.

Great place to get snacks, deli essentials, sandwich, coffee or dessert. It’s definitely priced really high compared to other delis but they do have some quality products. This is not a place to go for a $10 sandwich because they don’t have one but it’s really good. Honestly I think the pricing is just because it’s in Stamford right next to a Trader Joe’s. I think their portion size should be much larger for the price but either way it’s still a great place to grab a sandwich.

I don’t usually go out of my way to say something negative about a place, but I have to say for my rather dry pastrami on rye, chips and water I was so shocked at how overpriced it was, I had the gumption to say something at the counter, I think I said something like ”Good Lord Above…” which was met with apathy. Enjoyed the pickle whatever if it’s what you want and you enjoy the food great but it’s terribly misleading that on Google maps it says people are paying 10$…. i’ve seen some people comparing it with other Jewish delis in the area; sure, but you’ll be hard pressed to find a roast beef sandwich like the ones at Oscars in Westport back in the day. Really the food was fine, I just found the price was unconscionable. This isn’t manhattan. I would give the food more stars, but for what I paid it should’ve been the best thing I’ve ever eaten.

I finally had the chance to try out Rye Ridge Deli after having it on my list for a while. The interior was clean, though it felt a bit cramped. On a positive note, the staff acknowledged me right away, and the ordering process was smooth and efficient.

Unfortunately, the disappointment came when I received my order. I got a simple ham, egg, and cheese on a roll—and for the price, I expected something more impressive. At $6.99, plus a temporary egg surcharge of $1.00, my basic sandwich ended up costing $8.50. The only standout was the yellow American cheese (a nice change from the typical white American cheese here in CT). But overall, it didn’t feel worth the premium price tag.

Feeling unsatisfied, I went back to my go-to spot, Liz Sue Bagels, for the same exact sandwich and a buttered plain bagel, all for just $7.50—no extra surcharge involved. That experience felt much more worth it.

Rye Ridge Deli wasn’t bad, just overpriced for what it offered. I had high hopes, but I’m not sure I’ll be returning anytime soon.

I was just charged 17.00 for a baloney and cheese sandwich with 2 slices of cheese. This place is a robbery and should be avoided at all costs.
