We go to Shah’s often! It’s one of my husbands favorite Halal place. Yesterday we got our usual mixed over rice. But we also got the spicy wings and a Philly cheesesteak and we loved both of them! The service was great!

It was my first time trying Halal food! Wow, was it delicious and unique. I ordered a platter. Chicken over rice. It's served with brown basmati rice and a salad. There's toppings you can add, I chose onions, peppers, and black beans. I added the white sauce! And added a side of pita bread. It's was perfect! The chicken is flavorful with a little kick. All the ingredients were fresh. The restaurant was very clean and the woman who helped me was very kind. This place is a must!

The food alone is 5 stars. It reminds me of a great halal food truck in Astoria, but better. Try their chicken tray, I used to get the lamb and chicken combo, but the chicken is delicious. My hubby and I treat ourselves to trays when we don't have time to cook or sit and eat somewhere, we have twins under 2 years old, so this place is awesome for takeout. Get the white sauce and both red and green if you're a spicy sauce aficionado, it gives latinx and Indian spiciness a run for their money. They should really open a Shahs in Greenwich, preferably downtown district. All locations [ I've been to all, including the norwalk one]are all the same: delicious food and speedy service, its perfect if you're on the go and want something fresh and different.Vegetarian options: The rice and add ons are veggie friendly. Instead of chicken or lamb tray, just add all the other fixings and their potato chips made in-house.
