Food is not very well prepared. The mozzarella sticks were cold inside, the daily special pasta was undercooked (too hard), and the sauce was too salty.
It was also waaaaay too slow. We sat down and starved for like 30 mins before getting a few slices of bread, another 10 mins for the real app to come, and another half hour for the entrees. Extremely understaffed both in the kitchen and in the dining area. By the time we got our entree I really just wanted to go home.

Had a wonderful meal tonight at Sunny and Frankies or as my kids call it Corey and Kim’s. Corey is in the kitchen cooking the most consistently magnificent food i have had the pleasure to eat and his wife Kim is either behind the bar mixing wonderful cocktail’s and welcoming guests or waiting tables. They are always warm and welcoming like eating at good friends’s house.
Tonight i had two of the specials. The cucumber, tomato, onion and gorgonzola salad in a balsamic vinaigrette. It’s One of my favorites. Each item is fresh and the balsamic vinaigrette pairs really well with tge cheese. As a main i had a breaded pork chop with pasta marinara. Nobody can cook a chop like Corey, cooked but super juicy and tender and the crunchy breading brings it to the next level. And the pasta marinara is not an afterthought it is delicious. The marinara is full of flavor and the pasta is perfectly al dente.
What i find amazing is that the food is consistently excellent. It is one place that i have never had just an average meal at.

My girlfriend and I stopped here on the way back from OBX and man was it INCREDIBLE!!. We started with the Balsamic, Tomato and Burrata salad that was OUT OF THIS WORLD.I then got the Veal Marsala special and it was super tender and extraordinary!! My girlfriend got the Ravioli with Meatballs and she said the meatballs were better than any home made meatball she's EVER had. Needless to say, we will DEFINITELY be going back very soon. Even if that means we have to drive all the way from our homes in Massachusetts!!!

I went in to order food to have sent over to a family in mourning. The owners were SO helpful, compassionate and accommodating. The large trays of food were delivered punctually the next evening. The price was fair too. The guests LOVED everything. I will definitely order from there again - as well as dine in. There is something special here!

I have driven by this restaurant so many times on the way to my son's soccer practice and I finally had a chance to stop in for a meal. I brought my Italian relatives, including two who own restaurants, and we all decided Sunny and Frankie's has some of the best Italian food we've had in a long time. We will definitely be returning.I ordered the pasta special which was extra large rigatoni with a Bolognese sauce. It was divine. My son's penne vodka with chicken was the best we've ever had, and believe me, that kid orders penne vodka everywhere we go!
