I had a great time here. Tasty cool modern spin on tacos open late so very flexible. I really like the Big Mac tacos. Drinks and desert tasted great too. Good service.

Excitedly went to Taco Daddy for the first time recently! I am so sad to say it does not live up to the hype. The atmosphere 10/10, the food not so much. Ordered 3 $5 tacos, and plantains thinking it would be enough. I ended up ordering 3 more tacos so I ate a total of 6. They were all different flavors and I have to say only 2 were good. Someone said to me "but their drinks are better". So while that is more than likely true, this place is called Taco Daddy, and not everyone drinks alcohol.

Food is edible, but way overpriced for what it is..... I probably won't go back, also kind of a weird menu...

I came to this restaurant on a Sunday for brunch. The atmosphere was upbeat and trendy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My friend and I were really excited to try this place because we had heard such good things. unfortunately, the food looks better than it tastes. I give the presentation a 10/10, but the meat in our tacos were super dry and the plantains were also dry on the inside. We did enjoy the waffle fries though! We tried the sprinkle donut for desert, and although it was really pretty, the taste was underwhelming. I would recommend this place for drinks more so than the food.

I can't give you a zero so I'm gonna give you a one. Being that I tried to call the store twice to express my concerns and rectify the situation no one answered after leaving an empty bar here's my yelp review. I visited taco daddy today (7/12/22 at 6pm) in hopes of celebrating my birthday after work and I was utterly dissatisfied. Although the gentleman at the entrance of the restaurant was pleasant, The woman who served my friend and I at the bar was very inattentive and became insolent when I decided to pay a portion of my tab with a $50 visa gift card I was gifted with for my birthday. She insisted that the gift card did not have money on it. While I checked my balance at the bar on speakerphone and confirmed I had money on it. Furthermore she maintained an aggressive tone when I asked to swipe it again after checking my balance. My gift card was approved twice for two different prices ($29 & $10) and then she insisted that we couldn't swipe a third time because she didn't want to run it again. At that point I felt discriminated against because while I checked my balance on the phone she had a pleasant demeanor towards the gentleman sitting at the end of the bar. Not to mention The drinks were subpar and matched her subpar attitude. All in all I'm not sure if she thought we were broke or something but that was definitely unacceptable & needs to work on her customer service skills. To think I came all the way from Westchester, NY to be treated poorly on my birthday is truly horrendous. Do better and retrain that bartender woman.

Everything was AMAZING! If there was something we didn't like or care for they were extremely nice about it & accommodated us immediately! Everything was just perfect including the music & artwork inside! I'll be back soon!

What happened?! This used to be a very nice place to have tacos before! Is it because Lila Rose next door closed down and they lost a competitor so no need to try to be as good? Crunchy wrap was soggy, fish taco had zero lime on it and very dry, the other tacos were of varying degrees of uneventfullness, except for cauliflower one. The most annoying is that they charge a full cocktail price for a mocktail that's essentially a glass full of ice with few sips of passion fruit juice, that felt a bit like a rip off. Before, when they were on their top, it was worth the trip from Greenwich, but now it feels overpriced for what you get. Whoever makes their tacos now should take a trip to any of Taco no.1 in New York to see how a truly great taco should taste like.

I will give 3.5 if possible. They were understaffed. Only one server for the entire restaurant (she deserved 5 stars!). The drinks were flavorful but sparse. 60% ice.Food…. My girlfriend ordered the cheeseburger taco and said it tasted like hamburger helper.I had the bowl with Carne Asada and I thought it was delicious!Nachos were good provided you like queso versus melted cheese. I enjoyed them. I would go back

Came here on a Friday night with friends. Aesthetically the place is nice, clean, laid out very well with lots of space, the bathroom is a good size, friendly staff and there's a huge parking lot. The drinks were decent, too sweet for my taste and they gave me a headache the next day. Not sure if they alcohol they use was cheap or bottom shelf. The tacos were pretty good just very very small as you can see in the pictures. We had the Spicy fried chicken and cheeseburger tacos. However, one or two of my friends tacos had a piece of hair in them. They were replaced quickly and they even took them off the bill for us. But overall everything is expensive. About $5 or more a taco, $21 crunch wraps and $15-$20+ for drinks. Might come back to try a few more things off the menu, but I will just stick with non mixed drinks from brands I know or beef

This was the worst Mexican food I've ever had. So disappointed. The drinks were horrible also.

Friday evening visit, plenty of seating. 1st time here, great vibe, excellent decor, and clean. Food was fine, nothing outstanding but fine. Prices a tad high for individual tacos, but not enough to stop us from trying the Cheeseburger Taco, which was pretty tasty. I ordered the Daddy Bowl, wanted brown rice, but they were out of it, so white rice it was. Drinks were excellent: Peach Emoji and Queen of the Streets. Only concern was that all of our entrees were brought out separately. So, we had to make the decision to wait for everyone to receive their meal or dig in. We were family, so we just dug in as it arrived. One of our items ordered did not come, but before we could get the attention of our very busy server, the manager stopped by to check on us. We let him know that all was fine, except for the missing item. He graciously took care of it right away and comped the item. That wasn't necessary, but greatly appreciated. Our server also came back by to make sure all was taken care of. Overall, a nice visit!

This spot is located in a cute part of Stanford that I've never been to by the water. I checked in via Yelp and got a buy one get free drink! I had a variety of their specialty tacos and my favorite was the cheeseburger taco. They didn't have the oyster taco so I'm going to come back for that. Fun vibe and good service.

I was in Stamford for business, and I met one of my best friends here for dinner. It was moderately packed, and the drinks were pretty tasty. I got the birria tacos, which were delicious. My bestie got the crunchwrap, which was HUGE. Like enough that she had enough to take home for lunch the next day. We got the streetcorn fries as an appetizer, which, at first, I was a little skeptical about. However, it was SO good!! Service was a little spotty, our server disappeared a few times. Overall, it was a great spot with good music and tasty food. If they can tighten up the service aspect, they'll be A1.

I recommend this place for a group. I went with my girlfriend and 5 of her friends for her birthday. The portions (especially dessert!) were plentiful.Kudos to our waiter who was super friendly & attentive. The drinks and entrees were yummy. If you want to go to a fancy restaurant, I'm not sure why you'd assume a place called "Taco Daddy" would be fancy. All in all this was an exceptionally fun meal. I'd come back again to celebrate a birthday.

This was my first time coming here to eat out as I got dragged here by my wife and enjoy Cinco de Mayo. The food was awful and I got their raved 'Daddy Bowl'. For the price they bring out a small bowl of literally nothing! Three strips of chicken for $ too. It was so bland and for the price of $17 I would EXPECT a decent size for the meal I was expecting. I would def not recommend this place to anyone thinking of coming out to eat here for a quick bite. Never coming back here again.
