Teff has been cooking delicious, authentic Ethiopian food for years. They are consistent, affordable, and service is amazingly fast. Their downtown Stamford location makes them a convenient choice as well. Highly recommended!

Great Ethiopian restaurant! Bursting with flavor and very fresh, loved the injera and the akilt (cabbage with carrots) and the sig way (beef stew). Very spacious and friendly staff.

I love Teff! I have dined in twice and have ordered delivery through Uber Eats a few times too. Service has been great, food is fantastic. I love how clearly marked the vegan options are (and that there's just as much for vegans to eat as there is for meat eaters). I always do the sampler, and ALWAYS have leftovers. Thank you <3

Been here multiple times and the food is excellent each visit . We usually get the meat tasting. The doro wat is such a star. There’s Bunna Cafe and Ghenet holding it down for Ethiopian in NYC, Mesob in NJ and so glad to have Teff in CT. It can get packed sometimes so advice is to come early!

Amazing food..Injera should be made thicker however. It is too thin and more needs to be given to the table so we don't have to wait on server.

my experience here was excellent. All the staff were smiling, even the chef. The food was exceptional and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It felt intimate and special. The most important thing to know is that this is a family own business that has been here for 11 years. I wish I knew about it earlier. The bottom line is that most people will be happy to have visited this restaurant.

True gem 💎 warm, welcoming, inviting staff and atmosphere. We shared the vegan sampler for 2 and it was awesome! Definitely going back for more 😊

Best Ethiopian food I have had in a long time. I appreciate that the injera is made only with teff and every dish is gluten-free (my wife cannot eat gluten). We had the cocktail made with the honey wine, which was delicious and refreshing. We shared the meat sampler (two meat dishes and three vegetarian dishes). Everything was great. The spice level was on point. Is there anything more delicious than Berbere?
The quantity was plentiful - we took some home - and order another dish to go along with it.
The only issue is that it is an hour drive from where we live. Nonetheless, I look forward to going back.

Sat at the bar — super welcoming staff, great service from start to finish.
Ordered the siga wat as part of my meat and vegan sample and wow… rich, spicy, and fall-apart tender. Absolute standout. Had a happy hour cocktail and a beer (because balance). Food is bold, deep flavors and perfectly spiced.
The vibe was relaxed but vibrant, the service was on point, and the food? Easily some of the best I’ve had in a long time.
If you’re anywhere nearby, go. If you’re not, make it a destination.

We were four of us and got a tasting menu for three. Plenty of food for four of us. We ordered Atkilt, Dinich, Shiro and Timtumo - all vegan / vegetarian choices. They were all amazing! Also very good service.

Teff was delicious! I was skeptical to try at first but everything was so flavorful. I got the siga wat and dorho wat and a few vegan dishes. So so good, and it was all fresh and authentic. Can’t wait to go back and try different things on the menu.

I have been a frequent patron of Teff Ethiopian and Eritrean Restaurant in Stamford, Connecticut, for several years. The food has consistently been both delicious and authentic. I appreciate the reliable quality and flavor of the dishes each time I visit. Furthermore, Chef Hadas and her team have fostered a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. I also value the restaurant's spacious yet cozy layout.
