If you're looking for a place to eat delicious and unique food, this is the place for you. The margaritas and mojitos were delicious, the appetizers like the calamari and steak skewers were fantastic, and the main courses offer a great variety. I definitely have nothing bad to say; the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Had a party of 9 made a reservation for 8:30 as soon as we sat down we ordered drinks and we did not get till 30 minutes after … then we ordered appetizers and we did not get them till about a hour after ….. the wait staff was not on point and the place only had a couple off tables I was really confused and they where very expensive was definitely not worth it ……

You’ll get better flavor, quality, and value at the most basic hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. One visit was more than enough. Never again. Not worth the hour drive.

I came here to celebrate for my 41st birthday. They were very accommodating which I truly appreciate it. The food is awesome. That drinks a great. The ambience is the best. It's really pretty in there. Grateful for date night grateful for you girls's birthday or your mom‘s birthday. I can't wait to try the brunch The DJ at night time was very good very accommodating for my birthday. I love that. Thank you so much for making my birthday awesome.

Went there for NYE party. 2026. Absolutely a bad taste in my mouth. We traveled from NYC. We traveled from hotel to Tequila Escape by Uber. We patiently wait on line. Before we can even get in security tells me I cant bring my coat. Its like 20° outside. Thinking hes joking I took my coat and went inside. Then my boyfriend is getting checked and the main security guy is getting nasty w my boyfriend saying he cannot wear a coat. He explained its cold and everyone else has a coat. Also commenting on clothing. Meanwhile we was dressed up and some ppl there has sneakers & sweat pants. The security was getting out of his face thinking cause he works there he can be disrespectful. I came outside to see what was going on and he wants to disrespect me as well. Boy.... I tried hard to keep cool bc the devil is always busy trying to keep you from having a safe and good time. I would never go back there. This place needs to evaluate their disrespectful security staff.

Tequila Escape in Stamford is such a great spot! The food and drinks are amazing—everything we tried was flavorful and fresh. We were there with a party of 20, and the staff handled it perfectly. The manager, Angel, went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an excellent experience. He was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel like valued guests the whole time. This place is perfect for parties and events, the atmosphere and staff make any gathering feel special. Highly recommend stopping by you won’t be disappointed!

Tequila Escape has great music and a fun atmosphere the vibe is solid. But the bar service left a bad taste. On the handheld checkout, the bartender immediately selected the highest tip option before handing it to me, so what showed was basically just the total. If you’re ordering multiple rounds, that can add up fast and it feels intentionally “slick,” like they’re hoping customers won’t notice. I noticed and called it out twice. Management should address this, because it’s not transparent and it ruins an otherwise good spot. Check your total carefully before you tap/pay.

Food is horrible! Been here twice; will never go back. Vegetables in fajitas were very burnt and overshadowed the protein. The shrimp is cheap as well. The beef was good, but way too many burnt onions and other vegetables. The 2nd time I went the beef was horrible. Very tough and not lean like the first time I was there. The salad was the worst I've ever had! Dressing was disgusting! The beef empanadas were not good either. Maybe go there for drinks. The bar is beautiful and it has a nice atmosphere, but don't get the food! The place was empty indicating their food is bad. Should have been my first clue.
I ordered a dish , they gave me the wrong dish then were rude when I said something about it? . I would understand if I was rude but I was very nice about it. Do better.

Went here yesterday with a group of four, and while the place itself is super cute with a nice vibe, the experience went downhill fast. We got seated and placed our drink order right away, but it took about 25 minutes just to get our drinks—and my lemon drop was definitely not it.
We had to flag down the server multiple times just to put in our food order. When the food finally came out, the chicken tacos were honestly sad… basically chicken tenders in a greasy taco shell. The samba sushi was okay, nothing special. The only thing that was actually good was the guac, but they give you like four chips and then good luck finding a server to get more.
Overall, the place felt super unorganized. Not sure who is running things, but the service and operation definitely need improvement. Cute spot, but would NEVER return.

Like 8-10 armed security guys at the entry very bad vibe If that level of security is needed in a place it was better we didn’t got in, that shows is not the ideal place to have a good time.
