Had a very good experience here for Valentine’s Day. Our server was Jermaine. Great guy, super professional, knowledgable, and attentive. He definitely earned the 25% tip provided. Food, atmosphere, service, food… all top notch. Only knock was that the potatoes au gratin were stone cold upon being served at our table. Had to give the four stars in the food category instead of the five because of that. It’s great that the valet stand is literally at the front door. Really adds to the experience. Very highly recommend. Five stars in general overall.

My husband and I have been to Capitol Grille in Stamford CT several times. Every time is a wonderful experience. The service is excellent. The service staff check on you and make you feel comfortable. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing. I can’t wait to go with him again! Kudos to all the staff there!!!

This is place is what I call my good ole reliable lol! My experience is always great. It could be 2 months or 3 years out you always feel welcomed! I came here after leaving a previous restaurant because it did not feel welcoming and as soon as I walked in capital grille it felt like home. It was my birthday and our server was Ali who I think looks like bad bunny haha! My husband and I thought he was amazing and of course the food is always superb! I write this review with grace as I understand the volume on this specific day: I have dined at numerous restaurants on New Years Eve and all of them have a 2-2.5 hour cap on seating for this exact reason. We had an 8:30 pm reservation and did not get sat until almost 9:30. Again, I understand how busy this night is but there has to be a future solution to this. The hostess were extremely overwhelmed and customers were upset. My server was alright, our drinks came out AFTER the appetizers and we were told my apologizes for the wait, but it still did solve the solution or try to. A simple complementary glass of champagne would have most likely have been sufficient due to the enormous delay in a drink order.  My family and I have dined at this restaurant countless times, we enjoy all it has to offer but I truly do believe there must be a new way of seating for the future. Happy New Years, and I do thank all of the staff last night that made customers nights the most enjoyable they could have been, given the volume.

If you’re debating on coming here, go! It’s an excellent fine dining option if you’re looking for a sophisticated ambiance and selection. Food was superb, we did not feel rushed despite being there towards closing hours on a Saturday, and I received complimentary birthday champagne, card, and dessert. Staff were patient and kind, the appetizers were great portions, and the drinks were made to perfection.

I had to run out for some emergency midway, and my steak got cold, and they made me a new one when I got back because they can’t bear seeing customers eating cold steak
