I drove down to Stamford the other night to go down to workout at lifetime fitness since I have a membership. I from New Jersey so I was delighted to see all of the restaurants and how well the area is kept clean. The parking is easy. The food at the Capital Grill was not bad at all. I had a new england clam chowder and a caesar salad. It wasn't the best thing I've ever had but it was nice to sit at the bar and be the only patron. The service was extremely masterful and I found myself receiving therapy from the bartender.I will absolutely be visiting again the next time I am at the gym!

I am a huge Capital Grille fan. Today in Stamford CT - I ordered a Ribeye Steak ? Very Fatty and over salted - terrible, Lobster Mac & cheese was too creamy loose and they didn’t use claw meat like in Manhattan just scraps, Lobster Bisque was watery and I was searching for the lobster - chocolate flourless cake was huge a disappointment - Food was a 3/10. I went with three of my broker colleagues from a fortune 100 broker dealer. Spent $200 per head with wine. We will not be going back to this Capital Grille location. It continues to go down hill.? Absolutely Terrible Experience. We got taken advantaged.

As always the food and service is awesome. Last night we were with Kristen. She is attentive without being intrusive. Very good at anticipating our needs. The chicken with risotto was fantastic. The filet mignon was cooked as requested and delicious. ?

We went for restaurant week. Wait times were quick. Food is another story. Tomahawk steak was nearly a steak and Kona crusted was undercooked. Dessert included ran out and we were asked about other options only to be told they were out as well. Finally settled on a replacement. For the money you pay, totally not worth it. The place has gone down the past few years.

Another wonderful meal at Capital Grille. Stamford Restaurant Week is an added bonus. Food and service were excellent as always. We like sitting in the bar area to dine since it's a bit more relaxed than the main dining room.

Worst steak I have ever had. I guess they use scraps for restaurant week. Will never go there again. Fat, grizzle and sinew. Terrible for $65. Photo tells it all!

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic valentines day dinner here. Once we arrived, we were seated about 30 minutes later as it was extremely busy. Ahmed, our waiter was amazing. He provided wonderful recommendations and was very attentive throughout the night. I highly recommend the lamb chops, lobster mac & cheese and ribeye. Everything was made to perfection. To end the night, we enjoyed chocolate covered strawberries and I was provided with a rose (such a nice touch for a special day). This restaurant is wonderful and we will be back soon. Shoutout to Ahmed for taking great care of us throughout the night.

We were introduced to the Restaurant Week menu which was of great value. Two in our party of three chose the special but I ordered French Onion Soup and Crab Cake instead. The steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered. The wedge salad was fresh and crisp.

Capital Grille is usually wonderful but this time it was not. Steaks usually melt in your mouth but this time that was not the case. I do not know if they were having an off night or what. Service was good, but steaks were mediocre.

Extremely disappointed! Service was was not up to standard . After bringing incorrect appetizer, put down wrong dinner . Then got better , while switching out to correct meal , knocked over a huge drink onto table and my lap . Eventually brought some napkins so I could place on soaked table cloth , and try to dry my pants , and put under me as well as then sitting on soaked chair w soaked pants for rest of meal . The server later brought a “ fifth dessert” to table as “ a sorry” , when the four of us already had desserts. We were with another couple - I didn't want to make a scene , were very polite , but I feel “CG”should of at least compensated my meal , if not more. Not the “ Capital Grill “ service level we have come to expect ! Chris B.

Service was great!! The steak was perfectly cooked. The sides were just ok. I would definitely come back but try different sides.
