great place to go if you are looking for overpriced microwave food. plus there is a mouse that me and my friends saw and management didn't even do anything about it and simply ignored us.

I have lived in the neighborhood for 5 years and don’t want to fault one of the few businesses around but I have given this place three chances now and each has been awful. First-the restaurant smells like trash, I don’t know how people don’t recognize this when they walk in. Second-the furniture tables chairs and anything fabric are extreme filthy. Just take a look when you sit down. The prices are extremely high $12 for a can of beer? This place caters to the late night intoxicated crowd as is evident by the amount of liquor bottles, blaring music and trash left around all the cars that park there. While we were hoping this was going to be a great addition to the neighborhood we would like to seen them go. There are many apartment buildings nearby but everyone that I have spoken to has also had a poor experience. This is a try one but don’t go back type place. I will be taking my complaints to the city health and zoning departments.

We just got robbed. Payed too much money for basic food. The pesto gnocchi and sliders tasted like they’re from the frozen aisle. The drinks are okay. It’s sad. I came closer to their opening and the drinks had better presentation, they had a more diverse food menu and it actually tastes decent. Won’t be back.

Excellent service and delicious food. We ordered several small plates and each one was excellent. We were so busy eating and enjoying that we forgot to take photos.
Place was OK. Loud music. This was around 6:00pm. It’s like eating at a nite club. Can’t have a conversation with anyone. Host told us it was ladies night and it would be buy one drink and get another on the house. This didn’t happen when the bill arrived. Didn’t bother to dispute it. Not the fault of the server but you would think if they offered this promo they would have informed there staff. Food was decent. Skip dessert, not worth it. Happy to have left. The place has no purpose here. Much better places in Stamford downtown to head to.

I was excited to dine at The Lila Rose for the first time this weekend, however, I was extremely disappointed with their customer service. My reservation for 8 people was given away to a party of 4 people after showing up 2 mins past the allotted “15 minute grace period” due to traffic without any phone call or text message confirming if my party was coming/notifying me that our table will not be available. The hostess continuously stated it was my and my party’s fault. The manager tried offering us a table outside without heaters or a table at a nearby restaurant (which was unable to be met). The manager disrespected our party and consistently called myself and party of women “honey” to try to smooth talk his way out of of this situation, while not being able to accommodate us whatsoever. I was completely dissatisfied with The Lila Rose and wouldn’t recommend this establishment based on the terrible customer service. My party and I went to a nearby restaurant, Sign of Whale, instead which I would HIGHLY recommend for outstanding customer service and an overall amazing atmosphere. The Lila Rose manager should visit Sign Of Whale and take a few notes on how to successfully run a business where the customer ALWAYS comes first.

Amazing! I loved everything about Lila Rose. I went with a friend for the first time yesterday and we both had an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly, our waitress was so sweet and was inviting. The drinks... wow , the food ... incredible. Definitely try the gnocchi pesto!! It was so good I had to get an order to go. The tapas are perfect sizes and could honestly be a plate for one person. I can’t wait to go back ?.
