My wife and I went to The Wheel in Stamford for our first wedding anniversary and it honestly couldn’t have gone better. From the moment we sat down, the service was amazing. Freddie was training someone that night but you’d never know it, they were both so attentive and on point. I never had to wave anyone down, and they were genuinely excited to recommend some of the best food we’ve had in a while.
We might’ve missed the live band, but the view of the water and the relaxed, upscale vibe made up for it. It felt like the perfect setting for something special, and they treated it that way too.
Highly recommend for any kind of date night or celebration. We left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit.

The ambiance is great, and we loved sitting outside on the patio! The food, however, was disappointing. The brussel sprouts were wayyy over-breaded and doughy, and my lobster gnocchi was soupy and lacked flavor. Cool place, but not at all worth the price.

Last night I held a work event for over 50 people. Francisco helped coordinate and Will was our waiter for the night. Everything was great. We had a semi private space, an area outside on the patio, plenty of foods, and drinks.
They went above and beyond to make it a great event. Thank you!

My first time here, I found it through AI recommending it as a dinner after our trip to the museum. So quaint on the outside we almost through it was closed, when we came in we were greeted so professionally we had no reservation but made us feel so accommodated none the less. After which we began with oysters and crispy salmon. Was absolutely devine! Very well priced! The service was impeccable as well as the view! An absolute gem! The entrees we had, NY stk and the slow roasted short rib were an absolute delicacy! Our server Freddie! ( Hope we spelt it right😁) Was amazing! Finishing off on delicious gelato and tres leches with compliments to the chef!!! An absolutely lovely evening spent. Thank you very much for making our day! Long love the wheel! ❤️

Our server, Freddie, was phenomenal! Very experienced and knowledgeable on wine and the menu. The restaurant is beautiful with a great outside patio aswell. The view of the dock is gorgeous and the seating area gets lots of shade. We had the Short Rib and NY strip. Completely exceeded our expectations. Fresh oysters to start and a nice selection of wines. Definitely taking our friends!

Kitchen and service terrific. 8:30pm music selections were great but the noise level was so high the elements felt more competitive than complementary.
Love the location and been there many times before. But this time was not so good. Slow service, food put out on the table while we were watching fireworks. Food was cold and a big bug got stuck in my wife's pizza. Burger was cold and undercooked. They really seemed understaffed for the crowd. But will still go back again hoping this was just a bad night.

The ambiance and atmosphere were simply beautiful. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and provided helpful suggestions on the menu. I was particularly touched that the staff sang “Happy Birthday” to me. The Tres Leches dessert was a delightful treat. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place to others.

The appetizers were phenomenal—especially the Wagyu Roll. Entrees were decent, but not standout. Service was polite but not very attentive. With 3 drinks, the bill came to $265 before tip (~$318 with 20%). Overall, a bit overpriced for a meal that felt just okay except for the apps, which were awesome.
