“I work at the Pomfret Baker’s Dozen, so I’ve had my fair share of coffee — but my visit to the Chaplin location absolutely blew me away! The coffee was perfect (hands down the best I’ve ever had), and the manager at the window made it with such care. The cream went well with the candy. A must try. With an assortment of other options as well, this is an awesome idea. Adds a delicious twist to an already tasty treat. So come on down to Sugarz and especially if you live for Cannolis like I do. Try out the different variations and see if you find an even deeper love for Cannoli. “Love this place for the kids. Lots of toppings to choose from. Would recommend getting the punch card to earn a free treat after 10 purchases. Doesn’t expire so it doesn’t matter how frequent you go. Prices are moderate, depends on weight.”

So I don't understand. The rice had no flavor and if it was pork fried rice why was there chicken in the rice,the chicken wings were disgusting I don't know where they bought them from but the inside of them where the meat is not the skin was like dark blood just nasty.i think I'll stick with jade garden it's about the same price”

“my wedding cake came out, absolutely beautifully. We are not big on cake, but this was truly some of the tastiest cake I’ve ever had. We went with white cake, vanilla frosting, and lemon filling. The lemon filling was just enough and not too overpowering. The display of the cake was beautiful as well. You will not be let down by choosing this bakery.”

“This was my second time ordering takeout from New Ocean Palace Restaurant in Brooklyn Connecticut. This is going to be my go to spot in this area from now on. Sometimes I'm in this area of the state for work. Both times I ordered were delicious. When you order sesame or General Tsos chicken you can expect to get a hot, crispy, flavorful meal. Im a big fan of chinese lunch specials and I have to say they are very generous with their portions for the price. Service was professional and attentive. I can say that both times they knocked it out of the park, so they are consistent too!”

“We visited before dinner time on a weekday but they still had a steady flow of customers. The gentleman mixologist working day shift was awesome (I’m horrible with names) very interactive, professional and fun. We moved to a table to eat at shift change and were not disappointed. The fritters were great, sweeter than I like but still impressed with the flavors and appreciated they were cooked through for the generous sizes! Quesadillas were perfect and thick! The surf and turf…. The only thing I could say bad was there was only two shrimp, however they were HUGE and butterflied beautifully. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The portions will never have you saying “that’s all for the price?” You guys are doing a great job! Can’t wait to come back and get deeper into the menu!”

Not sure if pacing herself with an understaffed kitchen, or just pacing herself, but it was slow.\nFood, however, was really good. I think we would try it again.”
