First time I’ve ever been here, and inside the shop was very cute! I asked to taste the campfire s’mores ice cream, and it was very tasty. I ordered a milkshake with that flavor and was really disappointed with my milkshake because it was so melted, almost like soup lol. Definitely gunna go back to try them out again but maybe not a milkshake lol.

Lactose intolerant. Chocolate lactose free ice cream actually tasted like chocolate ice cream. No comparison to the lactose free Dilly Bars at the Dairy Queen right up the street which taste like, well, no taste. Mel's is out new go to place.

Service was good but ice cream machine only had coffee ice cream and vanilla ice cream. no chocolate. I got a coffee/vanilla twist and it tasted like straight chemicals. disappointed by that!

My family and I walked in and the dude working there literally looked so miserable the entire time like he hated his job. Then, when we left I noticed that my phone was not in my purse so we called the place and asked if there was a phone dropped anywhere in the booth we were sitting at and they said that they checked everywhere and it wasn't there. So then we pulled back up to the place and they had just closed and we saw through the window that he was sweeping right in front of our booth and so my cousin walks up to the window with me behind her and knocks on it and as soon as I get to the window I can see my phone sitting right on the end of the booth so clearly no one actually checked. This and the fact that this guy looked absolutely miserable is the reason why I am giving it one star. You should not look like your sulking when working a job where you deal with customers. The service is definitely a very important aspect of a business and I genuinely would not want to go back here after that.
Great little place. I love the 50's theme. My daughter had the cotton candy ice cream, and she believes that's the best one she's ever had. I judge ice cream places by how good their black raspberry ice cream is, and I'm sorry to say it wasn't that great. The color was light pink, and the flavor was a combination of berries, with a little bit too much cream. It was our first time at this ice cream place, I'm looking forward to going back to try another flavor.

The atmosphere was great but the ice cream was just okay. It almost tasted watered down and not that creamy. We went close to closing so I’m not sure if that played a factor but it was hot inside and smelled a little funky (maybe from the crowds before us?)
