Mel’s has gone downhill over the past year or so. We have visited twice within the last 6 month. Employees were not friendly or professional also not using sanitary practices when scooping ice cream and then scratching head in between. The place was very dirty from the tables to ice cream all over the floor. We won’t be going back.

Ice cream wasn't bad, but the place was dirty and smelled musty. My feet were sticking to the floor. One of the young female employees was swearing quite a bit - and I was there with my grandchildren. Not sure if I'd go back

Fun old fashioned ice cream shop with great decor and delicious ice cream. They have a good variety of flavors, including special flavors and Hawaiian shaved ice as well. The shop had great ambiance and even had a dj playing music for entertainment.

Order the Gram cracker in a waffle cone. You won’t regret it. Place a ton of spectacular flavors, but this one is fire.

Sundays are off the chain as well.

First time I’ve ever been here, and inside the shop was very cute! I asked to taste the campfire s’mores ice cream, and it was very tasty. I ordered a milkshake with that flavor and was really disappointed with my milkshake because it was so melted, almost like soup lol. Definitely gunna go back to try them out again but maybe not a milkshake lol.

Lactose intolerant. Chocolate lactose free ice cream actually tasted like chocolate ice cream. No comparison to the lactose free Dilly Bars at the Dairy Queen right up the street which taste like, well, no taste. Mel's is out new go to place.

A family owned, old school ice cream parlor that always provides a pleasant experience. Plenty of options to try something new every time! Highly recommend.
