We came in for a early lunch. Being the only customers there I expected zero complications with the food ordering. We ordered an udon noodle soup without chicken for my pregnant precatarian wife. Low and behold, there was chicken in the broth despite the request and it noted on the ticket. It would seem the kitchen staff need to understand basic things such as respecting customer's food preferences and has me questioning if they have the ability to accommodate for food allergies. A mistake like this could be fatal or major health hazard to a diner.

Food was very good, fish was fresh. The hand rolls were incredible. We also got the Japanese Wagyu beef and being able to cook it on your own stone was incredible. Delicious! Service was incredible as well. The host was very kind, and our waiter and waitress were very accommodating.

We had nine in our party and I was impressed as to how quickly our waitress was at taking care of our requests. We celebrated a birthday and the birthday girl received a special dessert and a beautiful gift of dinnerware. I was just somewhat disappointed in the meal I ordered. The Pineapple Fried Rice was delicious but the 'jumbo' shrimp on top may have been jumbo before they were cooked, but they were much smaller and overcooked when received.

Server ignored us for an hour and had to ask someone else to grab our food for us which we were staring at, and didn’t see her for the rest of the meal. We tried to get the check for 20 minutes only to be ignored and when it came the suggested gratuity was high than the percentage listed (18% of 69.67 is not 18.67 it’s 12.5) pay attention when you go here or you will get over charged and if you are a young couple do not go as they will judge you and give service accordingly to what they think you will tip
I have gone here two separate times - once for my birthday and once for my anniversary. Both were fabulous. I primarily ordered sushi and drinks, but ordered a tofu dish the second time around. Both options were delicious and filling. Additionally, on my birthday they came out with a desert and a free gift was an extra special touch. Overall, would highly recommend if you are in Mystic for any special occasions. Will most definitely go back when the time comes.
