Kathmandu Kitchen & Bar Reviews
Let me start by saying we live in Coventry and Kathmandu has delivered hot delicious food to our home time and time again!
This evening my wife and I decided to dine in and the experience was better than expected! We had Samosas, Thai noodles, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Naan. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner/chef came out to our table to ask how everything was. What I told him is what I'm telling all of you. This is the best Indian food...read full review
I have always had great experiences eating at kathmandu restaurant! out of all the restaurants in Connecticut that provide Indian, and Nepalese food this one definitely takes the cake! chef Raj puts a great amount of dedication, and hard work into every dish, and it shows! I am truly amazed how much flavor is packed into every dish! If you are looking for an amazing dining experience to wow all your taste buds, this place is for you! Thank you chef Raj!!!

Kathmandu Kitchen & Bar, led by the welcoming owner Raj, offers delicious Nepalese and Indian cuisine. The food is consistently cooked to perfection, with standout dishes like chicken momo, goat vindaloo, daal makhani, and duck tandoori. The menu features flavorful options such as bhindi masala, chicken tikki masala, chicken vindaloo, lamb chattinad, goat curry in butter, samosas, and mango lassi. Vegetarian favorites include saag paneer and tofu coconut curry, while the boti kabab and hakka noodles add variety.
The warm atmosphere and friendly staff create an inviting experience, though service can sometimes be spotty. Dishes arrive hot and fresh, like the tender calamari, chicken tenders, and samosa chat. The naan is soft and warm, perfect for dipping. While the decor is simple, the intoxicating aromas and authentic flavors make for a memorable meal. The bar also offers great cocktails to complement the food. For those seeking genuine Nepali-Indian cuisine, Kathmandu Kitchen & Bar delivers delicious dishes in a cozy setting.
