The food was less than desirable. We had chicken soup with hardly any chicken and mostly potatoes and a lobster bisque with very few lobster flakes. It was covered in a huge pastry which made it look delicious, but yet once you dealt into it, it was nothing of the such. There was one waiter five tables at lunchtime had a difficult time speaking and understanding. English

Another fabulous time at Biagio's. This restaurant never disappoints. This occasion was my Uncle's 88th birthday. God bless him! We had a party of 10 and everyone raved about the food. It was sooo good. Service was perfect! The drinks were flowing and the apps and main courses were delectable. That extra touch of art and flavor. AAA+++ Thank you, Biagios for making this such a special day for us all.

I love good Italian food and this was the best I've ever had. We are living in Stratford for a month and plan to return several times.

I have been here twice, the first in the fall and the second in February 2024. In the fall the service was okay although I had a weird dish with pumpkin and shrimp. Most of us thought our food was good but this dish was a bit strange. When we returned recently for Stratford restaurant week we liked our food well enough but had a bad experience with the service. We arrived and were handed two menus but neither were the restaurant week menu. We were told you had to ask specifically do the restaurant week menu which seemed odd compared to other restaurant week specials I have been to. We got the restaurant week menu but the price nor the specifics of the deal were on the menu. I noticed they had a pasta dish with pineapple which I didn’t get but I saw some other customers get it and it seemed they picked around the dish. Toward the end of our meal the table next two us had a physical gift card they bought directly from the restaurant and the waiter told them they couldn’t accept it because they couldn’t see the numbers on the card. The table was annoyed since they bought the physical card from the restaurant itself and the waiter did not accept the card. When it came our time to pay we also had a gift card, this time it was digital so should have had no trouble reading the code. We were told since we ordered the restaurant week menu we couldn’t use our gift card. This made no sense to us as a gift card is not a coupon and should be as good as money. They told us to use it next time but honestly the service makes it so we are not totally sure we want to go back. It seems they will use any excuse to not let people use their gift cards and steal their money. There is no reason people shouldn’t be able to use a gift card purchased directly from the website or the restaurant. If there is a reason they are not allowed to use it then it should be part of the listing of the price. We ending up paying over $100 for two people after already having spent this much there for a gift card. Tread with caution!Edit: Updating that my partner and I both got sick the night after eating here. Besides eating here we ate the same things as the day prior so we are assuming it was something here that made us sick. Not sure if it was actual food poisoning or the amount of oil and fats used on the food that made is ill.

Excellent dinner, reasonable prices, great service! For appetizers, my husband had lobster bisque and I had the Pera (poached pear, spinach, nuts and goat cheese balls), both delicious! We each took home enough of our main course for another meal. Was impressed with the menu choices. They even accommodated my cocktail choice, a previous standard but no longer on the menu.

Enjoyed a thoroughly delicious dinner with our daughter. The service was great, our waiter was attentive yet did not rush us. The osteria has a comfortable atmosphere with the fireplace in the corner. Nice cocktails, and again excellent food with ample portions. The homemade pasta is the best. We will definitely come here again.

Excellent dinner. We both thought our entries were exceptional. Very accommodating in letting us change tables given that it was New Year's Eve. Took a while to get menus and a waitress but that most likely to us changing tables. Will definitely go back.

Food was delicious!! Joe the bartender made excellent suggestions!! Service and staff were excellent friendly and timely!! We will be back for more!! Happy New Year!! Great place to ring in the new year!!!

Biagio's Osteria - Christmas Eve Diner - Nice quintet restaurant went with the family for a Christmas Eve dinner. The food was delicious, but some of it was cold. Overall, we would return to this restaurant to try other items on the menu. The waiter was a bit full of himself and did not know how to calculate the check when splitting between cash and card. Ask if I could do it for him Also, insisted his tip be in cash. Specials - Stuffed Zucchini Flower Fried Baccala Salad Octopus Salad - pieces could have been a bit bigger Calamari Fritti Wild Caught Sole Limonata Piccata Alla Biagio Handmade Fettuccine Special Lamb Shanks w root vegetable.

Sea bass and veal Picatta were excellent ! Allowed you to substitute sides which was nice - but risotto was just rice and very sparse on the veggies. Not very attentive to drinks and they could have sold us a second round but overall server was very nice.

Lunch is quite a scam---bait and switch. Selected Biagio's Osteria based on lunch menu sent by Open Table and posted on the restaurant's website. Arrived to find they do not have a lunch menu - just the much more expensive dinner menu used all day. They told us they changed two years ago! Can't believe they are allowed to get away with this. They were gracious once we reached the manager who offered to make lunch-sized portions for us. (Web designer no longer works for them so they have made no changes) Appetizers were more costly too. In the end the lobster bisque was great, fried food was over-breaded with bland tomato sauce. Would not recommend even for people who knew in advance about the menu problem.
