The Deli Department could use better staffing as there are often long lines with only one worker present. Additionally, the slicing of deli meat is not uniform, resulting in uneven individual deli slices.

On Wednesday October 4 I was about to go shopping but then I forgot I had to help a older women to take her cat to a appointment so I had to leave the store in a hurry so I won't be late and then a Hispanic guy said Ma'am I need to go look in your bag and accuse me of stealing which was 100% not true and I am only 26 years old and already be accuse of something I didn't do and then I asked to speak to his manger and she was no help at all and I told them I am never coming back her again and you should go to Costco not BJ

These guys just don't know how to run a store. I tried to get glasses, shop is closed on monday. Went again on Tuesday, would not accept perscription from MD. Went again on Thursday, cash register receipt would not print. Door attendant could not read it so would not let me leave.NEVER GOING BACK TO BJS AGAIN!!!

First off, I never would have purchased a membership if they had not sent me at least a half dozen offers at $25 a year, then $20 a year. Not my type of place. I don't buy in bulk. That said, I thought, "Well I buy chicken to cook for my dogs so try it.". Was okay for a few weeks. Girl at door was pleasant. Today I went to the gym next door, I am hypoglycemic, and I needed a salad or something of substance. A salad mind you. They don't have a salad bar nor pre-made packaged salads other than a chicken Ceasar salad prepackaged. I am a vegetarian, yes, I cook chicken for my dogs and family, but I don't eat it. I then went to look for other things to purchase for my house since I wandered in there anyway. Nothing. No meatballs my dogs love, nothing. I was walking out, and the girl (who has seen me a dozen times purchasing large amounts) stopped me. She has seen me spending $150 and $200 at a time. In fact, she has always commented on how much I bought at one time. She called me over she had to 'look in my purse'... huh?? She knows me. I said you don't have anything I was looking for today. She glanced inside my purse and said, 'okay you can go'. Granted I know she works there cameras maybe on her, but one other time same thing happened I walked in and out and wasn't hassled. I will not be renewing. Big Y suits me just fine. Anymore offers after year is over goes right in the garbage. Frankly, I never wanted to go in there seeing some of the people that do shop there. I get it now. Not for me. Thanks,??? but no thanks.

No liquor store in this BJs warehouse. Parking lot was large and lots of parking available. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hello … I purchased a grilled chicken & orzo meal to go yesterday from the Stratford, CT BJ’s, only to find once I opened the container and was ready to eat it, it was furry & moldy!!! Extremely disgusting & disappointing!!

BJ's in Stratford is conveniently located around 8 minutes from the beach. It's great if you need to pick up some snacks or drinks for the beach. You may also pick up your grocery essentials on the way home.I usually frequent any BJ's because they offer the best prices on gas, this BJ's doesn't offer gas at all. They also don't sell tires. This is a bit of a let down. Other than that, you'll find everything you may need for your grocery or home needs. You may even find a gazebo or new flat screen TV. I noticed the people working at the deli are a lot faster and more organized than the ones at my local BJ's.BJ's is a club you need to be a member to shop at their stores.

I love going to this BJs. I would say my only issue lately was them completely changing the store and its very hard to find certain stuff, but other than that i don't think I have had any issue with any of the people, and when we needed help, we got the help we needed.

Normally I’m a fan but I’ve had a few too many issues lately. I was planning on making a nice lamb shank dinner for our son who’s home on leave and just opened the lamb shank packaging and it wreaks despite rinsing them and seasoning them hoping it was just the packaging. I bought these last night and put them directly in the fridge. I tried calling to see if they have any lamb chops and can run in and get for a faster meal but I couldn’t reach customer service desk and when I tried to get the meat department only the deli was available and I was told they have no one in the meat department today. Ugh our for our soldier is ruined.

Huge shout out to the staff at BJ's in Stratford for saving dinner tonight! I purchased a petite filet of beef costing just under 14.00 , and of course didn't notice until I was home unpacking my purchases that I had left it behind , by this time the store had closed but I figured I would give them a call and when nobody answered I hopped in my car and drove down there with my receipt and the gentleman Harold who was bringing the carriages back inside was a huge help contacting inside the store where the manager Chris was kind enough to look for the item and when he wasn't quite sure what he was looking for, allowed me inside to show him and then he was able to find my original purchase .considering it was after hours they went above and beyond when they could've just turned me away and I can't thank them enough!

There's a reason why BJ's has a 2.8 out of 5 rating. They don't protect their customer's online banking info & refuses to address it. Customers, check your bank accounts frequently when shopping at BJ's because you may very well be getting charged twice.
