I wish I could give you a review on the food but the service was so bad that I didn’t order anything. I was ignored for the initial 10 minutes I was in there even though both of the ladies working saw me standing there. No “I’ll be right with you” or “just a moment” Nothing. After a while of standing in line I hear a guy ordering a bacon egg & cheese at the front counter so I think that’s where I have to go to order. Once there I’m ignored yet again and by that point it’s just not worth it. Food looked good, service needs improvement.

I travel from New Haven county to Stratford just for their steak egg and cheese with lettuce and tomatoes on a hard roll because it’s soo YUMMY. However my husband thought the meat had a lot of cartilage in it which made very chewy. The meat itself was good. Due to the cook not doing a clean cut, it made the sandwich fall apart. Those are my only complaints, otherwise the taste of the sandwich was amazing.

Salty nasty and expensive for no reason !!! I went back there to give it another try I won't go back again and spend my money here nope almost 20 bucks for a strip piece of pork and a can of soda ridiculous!!!! I seen one of the worker sitting on Moffit st around garbage and goes back in the restaurant i dont want someone that sits around trash to serve my food !!!!

Hands down the best Mofongo in the area! The servings are so big we had it for multiple meals. We ordered a side of plantains and literally had that for a week and couldn’t be happier. Restaurant is an order and pick up with tables if you prefer to eat inside. Friendly staff and food was phenomenal. Looking forward to our next meal very soon!

This spot's a solid choice for lunch, and I'm not surprised given the fair prices and generous portion sizes. The real star of the show is the Pastelon - it's worth every bite, and I'd love to see it on the menu more often.
The mofongos are consistently good, and I've got a soft spot for the chicken mofongo with rice and beans and maduros on the side. It's a reliable go-to.
One thing to note is the crowd dynamic - it's best to avoid the noon rush if you can, things calm down nicely after 3 pm. Service is friendly, and the bilingual staff makes it easy for everyone to order. Parking's a breeze too, thanks to the attached lot and proximity to the highway.
If you're craving authentic Spanish flavors, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Very good food, I have try the oxtail, chicken, and goat stews, pork belly (chicharron) is also great, the beef empanadas are just ok, the rice and beans are very savory too, would recommend to anyone looking for a great latin food meal.

They gave me one price and then as soon as I swiped my card the receipt said a completely different price, with over a $10 difference. They change prices of items depending on the person and like to cheat people out of their money!! They told a lady with the same exact plate as me a price that was $5 less than my plate. Also each time I came it was a completely different price.
