Made reservations for 7 people. Arrived 8 minutes early and asked if they can add one seat for a child. The host sighed and was extremely rude. They started to set up a table next to the front door while there were many tables unoccupied when we asked if they just started setting up our table when I made the reservation early the host ignored me. They ruined my sisters birthday dinner. We got up to leave and went down the street to Casa Nova where we were treated like family. Will never go back to La Fortuna.

We arrived early, and I saw that they were having some issues with setting up tables for everybody which means in some ways that they were very busy and they needed to find more room. What I can say is is that once they seated us on our agreed to time that they were nothing but fabulous. The service was outstanding. I did not feel in the short time I've been here in Connecticut, which is four months and testing out many restaurants that the food was on the high level that I have seen from other places do not get me wrong. It might be the items that we requested so please do not use that as a negative to this place. I just said the employees there want to ensure a fantastic experience and it will not stop me from going back there again.

La Fortuna is one of our favorite restaurants. Food is delicious, portions are HUGE and we like the ambiance in both the main part of restaurant and the room to the right. Our waitress last night, Linda was great and the talk young man who brings out the food is always so nice. Another great night at La Fortuna!

Sat at a table in the bar area so it was louder than sitting in the private dining room. Food is fantastic and the portions are 2x. Plenty of food to bring home. Value is great as prices are normal if not a little cheaper.

I loved It the food was really Amazing the carbonara Is the best if you love pasta, the service was really good the Place was really biutiful and even disabiled person could get in(not all shelton restorants have that) It was really the best 5 STARS⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was very disappointed. I have been a few times and this time the food was not very good, and the service was awful. We never received one of our appetizers and three tables who had the same waiter were seated after us and they all received their meal before us.

The atmosphere and food presentation was great. The only negative thing I would say is that I ordered the Salmon and it looked amazing but was a little over cooked, but delicious nonetheless. My family and I really enjoyed the night.

Our waiter was outstanding and everyone loved their meal. The salmon in particular was exceptional. The risotto was tasty with a very hearty serving. Desserts were beautifully presented in large portions. Overall we were quite pleased!!
