Out-of-town worker from Texas looking for lunch. My client recommended Gaetano’s, and I’m sooo glad he did! They get pretty busy around lunchtime, but the wait wasn’t too bad. Parking space is limited, but I had no trouble finding a spot. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a NYC neighborhood deli. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They took the time to showcase some of their menu items, and even gave me some samples to help me decide. Everything was so fresh, and the food was FANTASTIC, with HUGE portions! If you’re in the Stratford, CT area and don’t stop in for a bite, you’re missing out!Parking: There’s a small parking lot in back, and parking is available on both sides of the side street beside the restaurant. Both options fill up fast around lunchtime, but people are usually in and out fairly quickly so finding a spot isn’t too difficult.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a wheelchair ramp up to the front patio providing access to the front door.

Some of the employees can be rude. They don't like to take phone orders, openly complain about it in front of customers, and are obvious about their annoyance when you make modifications or customize your own sandwich. The food is good but not good enough to deal with the terrible attitudes. It's a shame.
