The BEST cake we have ever had! We hired Lovely Cakes for our wedding and feel SO lucky to have gotten the chance to work with her. Renata is wonderful from the start- very communicative, professional, and easy to work with. She shipped our cake tasting to our house and everything was so fresh- such a fun date night to try all of her delicious flavors of cake and icing! My now husband's birthday was the Friday of our wedding weekend, so I ordered a surprise groom's cake/birthday cake for him. I wanted it to look like Met Life Stadium and Renata KILLED It! Everyone was raving about it. She also did our cake for our big day on Saturday and it was stunning; she brought my vision to life and we were so happy with how it turned out. Beyond the aesthetics, the cakes are seriously out of this world delicious. All of our friends who are engaged asked for her contact information. We also had people asking us if there was any leftover the next day! 10/10 recommend working with Renata for any type of event- we will be using her for years to come!

The cake was perfection and tasted delicious! We chose black & white tuxedo cake with Nutella and Salted Caramel buttercream frosting and Vanilla buttercream outside and everyone loved it.

I was very impressed with the details of the cake. I hired Lovely Cakes to make a cake for a baby shower. I'm becoming a 1st time grandmother, so to me, it was exciting. The cake was indeed one of the prettiest. It was extraordinary, beautiful & clean. I had them combine one of their cake designs with adding certain details I wanted, such as lace and a more vintage feel to it. I had a 3 tier cake, all tiers where a different flavor which they nailed. The cake had a flavor for everyone. It was moist, buttercreams tasted just like the flavors they were supposed to be. When we cut into the cake, there was a line of guests waiting to try pieces of all three flavors. The cake was stunning. Customer service was also good. Questions and emails were always answered, and requests were filled.

I am incredibly particular and wanted someone proficient with buttercream and that's exactly Lovely Cakes. The main cake was a double layer cake that served 50 with a coordinating smash cake. The most amazing part was not only was it stunning, but it actually tasted delicious. Usually it's one or the other but this was both. So happy I found them and that they deliver as they are a bit far from where I live but completely worth it!

Good place to call for a cake if you’re looking for attitude and zero help or suggestions… after I overheard my wife’s conversation with the owner while she was genuinely looking for help and guidance she got nothing but an “I can’t be bothered attitude”.. after my wife feeling so uncomfortable with the situation I decided to call back and cancel the order. Instead of the owner asking what she could do or the reason for canceling she just told me that the $50 deposit is nonrefundable.If you are going to charge people a premium price, you should give premium service and not treat people like a transaction.

My partner and I had a cake tasting many months before our wedding and were impressed with the flavors Lovely Cake offers. We didn't expect to select what we selected: lemon cake with passion fruit buttercream. It was a dream! Seriously, I wouldn't have even thought of using these flavors for our cake if not for the tasting. The cake, too, was the perfect density -- baked to perfection!Renata delivered the cake early on wedding day. She was communicative throughout the entire process. We were happy with the service, communication, and delivery!Since we opted for a wedding on the beach (at the Jacky Durrell Pavilion in Fairfield), we wanted an ocean-themed cake. After searching the internet, we found a gorgeous design and asked if Renata could make something similar. What she delivered was breathtaking. One of guests didn't even think it was a real cake! The cake was beautiful as well as delicious. We hope to find a really good excuse to order another showstopper of a cake from Lovely Cakes.
