Any time I have people visit me, I bring them here for breakfast. They are well staffed, organized, and the food is always amazing. They absolutely live up to their name sake, and have vegetarian/vegan options as well. Be sure to ask for both the red and green hot sauce with your order, you won't regret it!

Zero constancy at the stratford location other than the hot sauce. The logo is an over easy/ medium egg, why is every time i go to the stratford location my egg well done and slimy. i also feel they use cheaper ingredients than the original. Bridgeport/Fairfield trailer location has always been on point from when they were in the trailer to the new storefront location. They have never been a disappointment. There is no place on the face of the earth with a better BEC Bacon Egg & Cheese! With a side of griddle smashed potato! The rest of the menu is spectacular, any version of chicken sandwich is A++ Italian Chx or Nashville Hot are my faves. Brisket is better than most all other BBQ joints. Tacos are fuego! Soup or chili always a nice special. Never have leftovers beyond later that day or evening. A very cool old school type lunch counter to dine-in, but I always have gotten takeout. Cucumber Lemonade is always a hit too. Tasty Yolk is probably the single best place to eat anywhere in greater Bridgeport area!!! The quality has never declined since opening years ago which is a testament to the passion of the chefs! Thank you Tasty Yolk, anytime friends or family visit from out of town, Tasty Yolk is *always* a spot we take them to!

I'm not from CT, but our friends in CT took us here since it's one of their favorite spots and all I got to say is their food was amazing! I went with the Chicken Mother Clucker sandwich. The fry on the chicken was so well done! Very crispy and absolutely delicious! I will be back here for sure, next time I'm up there.

Delicious! Everyone found something to try, great and easy menu, chocolate chip pancakes, breakfast burritos and more. Everything was made fresh. Fun to sit at the counter and watch the cooks. Friendly staff, Nitro Cold brew and happy kids -perfect start to the day!
