To Lo Sabores recently opened in Stratford, and we’ve been curious to try authentic Dominican food again, so we stopped by for dinner. I was impressed to see such beautiful decorations, and I couldn’t believe that the owner was only 25! We spent some time talking with her, and she is so sweet. It was her dream to open a restaurant, and she’s made it a reality along with her husband. The food here is all super authentic and delicious. You can’t go wrong with any of the choices, but some of our favorites were the mini patacones and yaroa. They offer a steam table Wednesday-Sunday as well. Check them out for an authentic meal!

The best food I have eaten in a long time. Flavor: exquisite, Quality: Excellent Service: it couldn't be better. I give 5 stars because they don't have more that I can give them but if I could give it 10 it would be the best rating, thank you for bringing this food to Connecticut, don't change the cook ?

This restaurant is incredible, its food is delicious and unique in this area, the food is authentic, and with a homemade touch that is felt in each dish, the onion is my favorite dish! I am Colombian but Dominican food is my favorite and especially in all the flavors it is a pleasure to arrive at this place that is so cozy and has excellent service! :)

I had the pleasure of enjoying an authentic Dominican gastronomic experience at this restaurant. Each dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. From the mofongo to the sancocho, everything was delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and the service exceptional. I recommend them ???

I was really impressed ?! Th vibes were the best to me. Very clean environment. And my food was very affordable and tasty! It was served in a very special Domenican culture style. I felt special for real. Yes I do recommend it!!!!
