Vazzy's Italian Restaurant Stratford

So I came and ordered a pizza, the customer service was excellent, the young lady at the counter was nice and the young men working in the back were friendly. But the owner/ manager was very nasty and rude. I was waiting for my order to be done and he very aggressively jumped in front of me to say some not so nice things. I lived in this neighborhood for a couple years now and never experienced anything like this. Luckily I have friends in the area that tell me i should’ve never eaten there in the first place. They told me they’re known to have rats in and out the restaurant even showing me videos of rats leaving out the restaurant during business hours. I guess that was my cue to never eat there again and I wouldn’t recommend anybody else to. Sorry those employees have to work for a guy like that under those conditions.

Great dinner. First time I've been back here in about 15 years. Just like I remembered. Comfortable, non-pretentious neighborhood joint with really good pasta. Try the Pasta Coco!

We live in Delaware, originally from Connecticut.I planned a sixty fifth surprise birthday party for my husband. I reached out to Sam, the owner in March. He was very quick in responding to me. Very accommodating, absolutely a pleasure to work with.
The day of the party, everything was perfect from start to finish.The service was impeccable, this salad was fresh, crisp and cold. I needed gluten free pizza.It was perfect, and it was kept separate from the others.
The pizzas were hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. When I needed to order more pizzas, because we ran a little short, not due to anything that they did, it was on my end.They were quick to accommodate whatever we needed. We have always liked this restaurant and going forward when we go up. North to visit friends and family.We will absolutely be stopping in!

We ordered a 6 foot sub & tray if calamari for party. The sub was good, but very hard to transport as it wasn't on a board. It almost fell apart on the way home. The young men who carried it to car acted as if we were bothering them. The calamari was ok. Definitely won't use again.

I went to Vazzy’s today to bring my mom for dinner It was horrible my coffee had grounds in it the chocolate cake was stale and the cappuccino was just gross I’m sorry to say it was not a enjoyable or memorable time

Got the penne vodka which was really good in flavor and the portion size was huge (me and my friend split 1 portion which was more than enough). The calamari on the other hand was beyond bland, rubbery, and soft. The mozz sticks had no flavor or crunch. If you were to go I would get the penne vodka for sure again just beware of the size

I come here often and sit down to eat, the food is delicious, but recently whenever I order takeout past 7pm-8pm the quality isn’t the same. I ordered fettuccine alfredo today and the food wasn’t seasoned, like it normally is. I’m really disappointed because I really do like coming here, but I am not getting the same quality food to take home.
