We have been going here and ordering delivery for years. My husband has eaten from them far as he can even remember. He was born and raised in this town. Today I was absolutely appalled. This was how our pizza was delivered to us. It seems like after the family dinner closed, Patties burnt down and now Mona Lisa’s is closing. Hometown seems to think they have the monopoly on thomaston so doesn’t have to take pride in what they serve or how they serve it.

I then asked what my total was and was told (by, I’m assuming, the owner) that it came to $15.85. At that point, they started to debate that my place was really far, when it is actually only a maximum of 5 minutes away from their place of business. I will not be giving my business to them again.

Hometown is often a go-to at our office, but it can be a little hit or miss. It was so greasy on this last visit and the crust is on the chewier, underbaked side. I do appreciate how much seating they have in there, and the staff is always friendly.

The menu that I looked at online when you punch it into Google maps says the chicken Parm is 1695 and then when you get there it’s like 2195 and the salad was very warm and the chicken was so flat that it looked like it went through a close ringer terrible
