Came from Maine, and had a great time, absolutely beautiful family, food and sushi were amazing, and the fried rice is to die for. Everything here seems fresh, and that’s amazing and unexpected. Amazing service and cheap for what we got. We will most likely be back tomorrow for takeout! Only thing is, it’s small but comfortable when you sit down. I hope this business thrives!

Sushi Q Japanese Restaurant is the only sushi spot in Thomaston, known for serving quality food. The sushi is delicious, with the "Dinosaur Egg" being a recommended dish. The Lobster King roll, featuring lobster and avocado inside with mango outside, is a favorite among customers. The tempura cheesecake is also praised, along with the shrimp tempura appetizer, which comes with a highly regarded dipping sauce. The staff is friendly and accommodating, creating a nice and relaxing environment to enjoy good sushi. While the interior is small and not very cosmetically appealing, the restaurant is clean, and the food is consistently good, especially the Kani salad. The service is fast, and although parking can be annoying at times, it is worth the visit for the quality food.
