After a wonderful meal on New Year's Eve, we returned to BRT for Valentine's Day dinner. The food was off the chart delicious, from the calamari with blue cheese and hot peppers to the shrimp scampi with mushrooms and bacon. Not to mention the incredible tiramisu.
Amanda was our server and was attentive all evening.
We sat in the middle dining room, which was warm and cozily lit. The new owners have definitely succeeded in turning this restaurant around.

We had dinner at BRT on New Year's Eve, which was our second visit. We were impressed the first time; we were doubly impressed New Year's Eve. The presentation and quality of the food was top notch. Also, great service. We met the owners, who were very pleasant and are clearly dedicated to the success of the restaurant. We will definitely return.
We have been going to Black Rock for a long time. Always great food and friendly service! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Based on the reviews, Black Rock Tavern is a great local spot with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. The service was quick, and everything ordered was fresh and flavorful. The waitress was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond. The food is amazing, with options like the Steak Crustini appetizer, the black rock filet mignon which is received raw and cooks on the black rock at the table, and lemon cream brûlée. The French onion soup is soooo good, and they have Creme Brulee. The ultimate nachos with beef was huge. The atmosphere is cozy, and the dining room has been brightened up by new owners. A perfect place to relax, grab a drink, and enjoy a meal. It is a must try.
