Update. The family and I just visited the Anchor Bar in Buffalo. I must say that the Tavern wings are spot on. When you visit Tolland be sure to get a taste as close to the original Buffalo wing. Mark is getting his wings done right.
Fun bar, nice bartenders, could use more young, fresh faces during the week. I saw mostly regulars but it was a good time nonetheless. Friendly people, would recommend to newcomers and college folks.
Went to watch a Bills game, had a great time. Good wings, plenty of TVs and plenty of Bills fans (refreshing) and good beer on tap. Also had a handful of games (basketball, golden tee, boxing, pool tables) and pretty typical bar menu. Will be back soon!
