Always a pleasure entering Cafe Joie. The owner is always smiling and polite, excellent ice cream, and their coffee is much better than many other Cafes in town. Very quiet too, making it a nice place to take a break from downtown Torrington.

bathroom had no toilet paper or paper towels The manager was rude and said disgusting things about gay people And adoption. The workers told me my order sucked, and I should probably order something else and laughed at me When I only ordered what they had on their menu. I would not recommend

Ice cream was delicious. We've tried just about everything on the menu. The iced chai is just about the best thing I've ever had. Coffee is fantastic. We go out of our way to get the coffee and it is totally worth it. The owner is incredibly inviting and very nice. The place has a great atmosphere and it is a very nice place to go and sit down.
Rolled ice cream - unusual. Creative combinations of flavors and toppings.

Having never had rolled ice cream before, this was certainly an experience. If you like ice cream, I would highly recommend trying it, it's different! Cafe Joie itself was easy to get to and a great place to stop in. Service was fantastic and prices were more than reasonable. I highly recommend stopping by!
