Worst grinder ever. When I was concerned about it not being like carbones, the girl said it was better. 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of cheese, 2 slices of unripe tomato. Roll was stale. Should have gone ANYWHERE else. Expensive and terrible.

Absolutely fantastic people with amazing food and very supportive of local businesses. Handles food allergies like a five star restaurant if you make them aware ahead of time. Would recommend to anyone that loves food and wants to support a local business.

I walked to this store from the train stop that the Naugatuck Railroad Company stopped at in torrington. I did not try the actual food they prepare, but they have a lot of cute little food items that you can buy. They sold a lot of interesting candy, and nostalgic candy boxes. They have sandwiches and wraps to buy and eat there as well as ice cream. You could also buy chocolates from behind the counter. You can also get prepared meals in their refrigerator. I got some gourmet dog treats for my dog, and a little maple syrup lollipop. There is not a lot of seating, but I did not dine in so that was not a problem. It's definitely an adorable little store and deli that if you have the time to stop at, you should.

Ice cream was freezer burnt, with huge chunks of ice in it and not good at all. I was told I couldn’t get a junior size even though it says they have a junior size on the menu. Spent $6 each for 2 ice cream cups just to throw it away. Tried to buy half and half only to realize it was 4 days expired. Our server was extremely rude and seemed bothered by our business. Got lobster bisque and macaroni salad as well, haven’t tried that yet, but scared to now. I’ve never in my life written a review, but I feel as I’m doing people a disservice if I don’t. Awful experience. I will never be back. I’ve been to the one in Thomaston years ago, it was much better than this.

Smaller store then their Plymouth one. Very nice cozy little deli. With all sorts of odds and ends to add to your kitchen food and otherwise. Great ownership and staff, highly recommend.

good sandwich. lady at the register did her best to shame me when I didn't understand you can't order a 12 inch hard bread sandwich.
(and my apology wasn't good enough for her).
