Standard blah diner food. Service was horrendous. Getting a coffee refill is automatic in a normal diner, not this one though. It took our server 45 minutes to finally give us our first refill with the bill, because our server was busy drinking her own DD coffee and gabbing with her coworkers,. Apparently the customers come last in this poor excuse for a diner. We will not return.

I order shrimp and bacon omelette which not on the menu and they was able to make it. The food was hot and very delicious. Home fries was soft the way I like it. My root beer had the kick in it. Overall I will come back and try something out

Traveling north through Connecticut and Google maps sent me to Christy’s in Torrington. The diner is obviously adored by locals, and our waiter could not have been more charming. We were told the owners were Greek, so we ordered a Gyro and a Gyro platter. Food came fast and hot including delicious fries. We were in and out quickly as we needed to get back on the road. But highly recommend as an easy pull off of Route 8 and a fast delicious meal.

very upset with my meal! i was very excited to try this place out! i visited with my partner! he got the egg benedict i got a burger! i noticed halfway through eating my burger there was a thick long black hair in it. when i complained to the staff they told me i already ate half of it so they couldn’t do anything to help me. i asked if i could at least have half off from the bill and the server just laughed at me and called me big backed. i would not recommend.
