I order shrimp and bacon omelette which not on the menu and they was able to make it. The food was hot and very delicious. Home fries was soft the way I like it. My root beer had the kick in it. Overall I will come back and try something out
Traveling north through Connecticut and Google maps sent me to Christy’s in Torrington. The diner is obviously adored by locals, and our waiter could not have been more charming. We were told the owners were Greek, so we ordered a Gyro and a Gyro platter. Food came fast and hot including delicious fries. We were in and out quickly as we needed to get back on the road. But highly recommend as an easy pull off of Route 8 and a fast delicious meal.
Food really good. Went with the family and it was perfect for two kids who are picky eaters. Menu not too big, but big enough to provide options for everyone. Everything was super fresh and delicious.
