Ordered oatmeal (among other things). Pretty straight-forward food product. After a long wait we were served raw oats in tepid water. To recap, raw oats in mildly warm water. When we brought it back as uncooked and unwarm, we received a look like ‘so, what’s the problem’. It was put in the microwave for some seconds. We now have hot uncooked oats. The service was about as tepid as our oatmeal. While we were in the middle of ordering, someone came in to pick up a takeout order. The person behind the counter stopped taking our order, got the takeout order together, and rung up this customer before finally coming back to finish our order. It was absurd. Nobody smiled, nobody seemed interested in being there or in their job. The rest of our food was okay, but hardly notable. Glad others have enjoyed their experience, unfortunately we didn’t.

Stopped in while I was in the area for a breakfast sandwich and latte. Staff was super friendly and everything was great. Breakfast sandwich was perfect and cookie butter latte was delicious. Will def stop in again when I’m up in that neck of the woods.

Amazing coffee and breakfast. This is a great addition to downtown Torrington. Parking was a little tricky until I realized that there’s a lot right outside. Inside is tiny, but great for a catch up with a friend.

Food is very mediocre and the owner was rude. I heard this owner scammed her workers out of their hard earned tips. From what I know, she pocketed these tips which is ILLEGAL and she got in trouble by the federal department of the government. What a loser.

The staff was really nice. The order came out very fast.I ordered a egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it came out burnt. The egg was overcooked and bland. The cheese was crispy instead of melted soft.The coffee was scorching hott it burnt my mouth. As the coffee cooled off I could smell the burnt coffee beans. I didn't finish my food.
In Torrington I came across this adorable coffee shop called Crumbs. The exterior of the building caught my eye, with its sky blue bricks that would blend into the sky on a sunny day. The inside is so inviting and beautiful! They have a full wall of positive messages, on a faux grass background.Once I saw the December menu, I knew I'd be getting the Holiday Cookie Latte.I don't know if it's a new concept or if I've been living under a rock, but I've never had a hot latte with cold foam, until I had it at Crumbs.Oh my, was this delicious! The cold foam was cookie dough flavored, which is basically like ice cream. And the latte was almond flavored! This was a dream combo! My Holiday Cookie Latte was creamy, flavorful and so tasty! The girl who made it for me was very pleasant.When I'm in the area, I'd love to stop by Crumbs again!
