We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. We would highly recommend this super, hometown feel, very professional restaurant for everyone! (And I totally felt comfortable eating their gluten free options)

Pancakes had no flavor over sweet, Syrup. Bacon was not crispy was warm. Lots of fat looked like it was cooked night before flavor was awful.
Parking: Plenty of parking around back.

Typical diner. The staff is friendly, the food is serviceable, the prices are too high for the quality of the food, but it's not too bad. It's clean and pretty on the inside, with typical diner knick-knacks and preachy-pithy sayings adorning the walls. Definitely one of the better diners in Torrington, but sadly that's not saying much. My wife likes it more than me. (2024 update) Had to bump it down 2 stars because the coffee tastes like brown water. They are NOT buying good coffee, nor brewing it properly.
