Ordered from door dashThe Spanish lady that delivers for them is rude as hell and she uses different cars under different names (seems like she shouldn't be working as a driver) and when she came to deliver to my house she threw the soup on the porch and it exploded in the bag. I am disabled and couldnt go down the stairs. She said restaurant gave it to her like that and I call them they say call door dash door dash says they have nothing to do with it because she doesn't pop up in the system. Soup was greasy anyway. ?

Best traditional Mexican food in town. Casual confortable dinning. I’ve been to México many times and his food is way better. You can tell this guy loves cooking, you can feel at home as if you mom made it but tasty and savory. We’ve been there about four times and every time, we try something different (get his soups!) we are never disappointed. Best empanadas ever! Get there and try something new besides your typical tacos, get his amazing juices and shakes. I’m telling you, delicious. The place is clean as expected, nothing fancy but cozy, never crazy crowded so gives you a more private experience and owner is very attentive. Big bang for your buck! Recommend experience.Parking: Park at Dary Queen.Kid-friendliness: Enough space for the family

Ordered steak fajitas and tacos. Fajitas were served like a burrito. Main issue was that the steak was completely inedible. Extremely over cooked and so tough it couldn’t be chewed. I also had to add spices and salt to the guacamole to make it edible. So we had chips, guacamole and some rice & beans for dinner. $50 since we used DoorDash.

This place is amazing. For me the Mole Poblano is the star. Beyond a doubt the best mole I have ever had. The depth and complexity of the flavors are astonishing. My favorite Mexican cuisine in the area. The posole is amazing as well.

Great food with no frills. My favorite is the steak fajita, they pre-wrap the fajita so it's perfect for to go orders, also don't miss out on the salsa verde sauce. I've eaten in there many times as well. The servers were very welcoming. Overall the food was great, and I appreciated getting to talk to the very nice owner. This place is a hidden gem in Torrington.

Ordered from door dash thinking we'd give it a try based on some of the good reviews. The food was horrible. The flautas were so overcooked you couldn't even bite into them, outside of Torrington this couldn't pass for latin food. Maduros were burnt and tasteless, I'm not sure they even know what a flauta actually is, and the churros reminded me of Pillsbury frozen churros. Even my dog wouldn't eat the piece of food that dropped on the floor.

I give up on yelpers in this part of the state...no way this place is 4 stars. NOT even close. This place is a one man show the host, chef I would say cleaner but this place is anything but clean. I'm surprised the state has visited them. No staff so tables remain dirty. We were the only people in the restaurant. Now to the food....The which was ok not bad but not four stars at best two stars It's edible. Yelp should remove the four star reviews as they are extremely misleading.

Small hidden gem of Mexican food in Torrington. The owner/cook produces very tasty fare out of a tiny kitchen. There is a standard menu plus many changing specials shown on the white board. You can spice it up with the green salsa or keep the fire lower with the red salsa- homemade of course. Prices are in line with current menus elsewhere. There is a dining room, but I have always had a better experience with doing take out. The burritos, tacos, and fajitas come in many types, including breakfast varieties. The portions are generous and you can fill up on the delicious rice and beans, as many folks do.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. Just look for them.Parking: Parking is along Main Street on the opposite side. Torrington has a thing for parking meters, the public be damned. In the winter when DQ next door is closed, you can use their lot. Please don't go there in the summer unless you are a customer of course.
