The other buffet in t-town. Now called "dragon buffet". Surpringly a good amount of selection. All were tasty . they have a hibachi section which I didn't try, but it's there. The interior decor however is a bit dismal - aged carpets and a bit worn out furniture. The service was fine as far as buffet services go - they filled my water and took away the finished dishes as needed. Went during lunch hours and filled up. The place had about 10 pple. Which was great cuz it meant more for me 3.5 stars. The buffet on the hill is a bit more but you also get a bit more.

This buffet is now called "Dragon Buffet". It's been completely renovated! The food, staff, and even the cleanliness has exceeded my expectations! Still very affordable. We will definitely be back! I'm very picky when it comes to buffets. The food was piping hot and fresh! And absolutely delicious! Husband and son devoured the sushi table! Usually Chineese buffets limit how many pieces you can take, but they had no problem! What a deal! For about $5/person. Can't go wrong:)

Now under new ownership dba "Dragon Buffet," as of 04/18, it's not fine dining but enjoyable casual dining. Dragon has a full menu, in addition to the buffet, as well as buffet to go by the pound. The all you can eat buffet is still $6.95 for lunch and $9.95 for dinner and all day Sunday. The sushi spread, under new ownership, has increased, and artistically displayed in a more prominent spot. The salad isn't a salad bar but a bit more substantial than the previous iceburg lettuce salad mix. Plentiful fresh fruit, including fresh pineapple, watermelon and grapes, round out some of the lighter options. Dinner features many seafood options from baked salmon, fried fish fillets, crab legs, Crab Rangoon, many varities of shrimp and clams to whole cray fish. Plentiful beef and chicken dishes are offered, the General Tso's (mild heat version) and Mongolian beef both being tender and pleasing in flavor. American standards like buffalo wings and macaroni and cheese add well made variety. Desserts are your usual Chinese buffet choices but the ice cream bar now includes toppings like chocolate syrup and sprinkles. Soda is unlimited refill for $1.50, no price gouging there. Service was prompt, friendly and fluent English made communication easy. Definitely tip worthy. The restaurant was very clean in appearance and the food was fresh and kept at acceptable temperatures. To wrap this up, Dragon Buffet hits all the right spots, mixing the family fare up a bit to spin a treat. Not a romantic date spot but excellent value for the price.

Fairly good food, mostly fresh and a good variety at great prices. We'll be back. We were also impressed with the number of people getting food to go.

Yeah they started cleaning up at 8:45 when they're supposed to close at 10? There weren't any shrimp in the Cocoanut Shrimp Dish. The food was cold overall, but at least the rice was good! But we are taking our business else where. Last 2 times I've gone there, there was this horrible odor in the carpet!!!!!!

Horrible experience. The guy told us they were open till ten so we went at 830. At 845 they started packing all the food up so we paid and then couldn't even eat what we wanted. Opened a piece of crab and it was gray on the inside. Wife got food poisoning and the guy said "no ur fat u ate too much. U ate like 20 f***ing plates." Yes he swore at us. Didn't even eat that much since they put half the food away over an hour before closing. The food we did eat was pretty nasty. Then they yelled at her for throwing up in the bathroom and tried to make her clean it. Never again.

Chinese buffets are never as good as a Chinese restaurant. This one is really bad though. The good thing is that the price was very cheap for an all you can eat buffet. The food was bland, not hot, not fresh, not good.

I haven't been here in awhile but things really haven't changed much, the food would have been much better if it was hot. Very very disappointed .will not be back

I LOVED Lotus Blossom. They were dirt cheap but still pretty good for what it was. Now that they closed and changed ownership: I R DISAPPOINT, RAWR. They have pretty much the same food as before, but its so bland now. I would have expected this from Lotus Blossom, as dinner was $6. This iteration is more expensive, yet the food is crappier. What wasn't bland ended up being salty as hell. Chinese buffets get graded on a curve, and this is still pretty friggin bad. I will give them credit where credit is due though: instead of random "let's wrap anything up in rice and seaweed and call it sushi" sushi like Lotus Blossom had (I saw pickles and chicken fingers once) - they do have some identifiable rolls. Nothing too fancy though, nor was it all that impressive The hibachi table is a good idea BUT is it really a bright idea to have raw meat out on a buffet table? IDGAF if it's chilled or not, keep that stuff behind the counter and in a fridge. I understand they want people to see what they have and encourage them to use it - however, just list the choices for hibachi, don't have it out for everyone to ogle. Until that changes, you won't catch me getting hibachi here. I think I'll stay up on the hill and go to the Super Buffet by Walmart when the Chinese buffet pangs hit. At least I know that place is good. I'm not one to get all Yelp snobby, but it takes a lot for me to give a low rating. This place blows.

For the record, I'm whitey and the wife is Taiwanese. I found there to be a wide variety of options here...so much so that we never made it to the Mongolian BBQ section. Not much knocked my socks off but surprisingly I had a very hard time finding anything that was bad or horrible. All food was very edible. My faves included: various styles of fried chicken pieces; baked breaded in shells shrimp and mussels; mini-steak sandwich (similar to a Northern Chinese "beef roll") with sauteed onions and thinly sliced or shredded tasty beef inside; the sushi options are limited and just okay; lo mein noodles are pretty good; prime rib with au jus good; nice dumplings w/sauce on side; fried sweet potato balls. The price is very fair for lunch and I'm sure we'll be back when we visit dad again.
