Yes, hostess wasn't super friendly. Reminded of Peter Lugers in Brooklyn, but our food was great and the ambience was nice, and our waitress was fun. Next time I'm in Manchester we will come back. Filet Mignon was perfect!

Slow early evening with plenty of staff. Our three waitresses were in no communication with each other. There were three waitresses with two tables. This was at 6:00. The bar maid had to finalize our transaction and gave me 19 pennies. I left a 10 % tip which I haven't done ever. Get your employees figured out. Last time I'll be there. And the girl that looks like her dog just died, leave it at home.

Came on a Friday and they had great live music. I ordered a drink, the small size of nachos and the heirloom tower. Drink seemed mostly soda, but one of the people I sat with was extremely happy with their dirty martini. I tend to be a nacho snob and was not impressed with those. The cheese wasn't even completely melted and it looks like I was served the bottom of the bag because 80% of the chips were broken pieces. The heirloom tower was very good. Everything was fresh and the tomatoes crisp. The place itself is ok. There are two rooms and the room with the bar and entertainment was extremely stuffy and warm, the other room felt like Antarctica. Bathrooms were clean with 3 stalls, although one was out of order. Overall I'd give this place 3-1/2 stars, but with that not being an option I opted for 3.

I returned to Mulligan's in Torrington because I decided to give their Bar-Rated Trivia another shot. I liked it the first time, but was more impressed with this visit. The music played stood out more and the crowd was upbeat and interactive without being overbearing. I will say, it got a bit loud at times, though I did arrive later than expected. I enjoyed the "two Daves" and my Riesling ($9). I took a few photos, so you'd get the idea.

This place is fantastic! I've never had a potato chip encrusted anything before, but this chicken sandwich was perfect. The other food we ordered was top notch, and they have a nice varied beer list. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try if you haven't already.

No two ways about it, the beer brined wings with out sauce are absolutely delicious! They also have many flavors if needed but the plain wings are just so damn good! We also had the following: Cobb Salad (enough for two people) Fish & Chips (with house made chips instead of fries) Patty melt (super juicy) Rodeo Burger (ask for the onion rings on the side instead of on the sandwich) But the one thing I can't wait to try next time is the giant house made pretzel! And the full bar, wine and beer selection is totally aboveboard

Great service, sat outside, crab soup, beet salad, chili () and pulled pork sandwich (). Meal with two beers and tip $43. Worth your time - lots of parking (it's a golf course), sit outside and soak up the sun.

I work close by so on a whim some colleagues and I went there for lunch today. What a great surprise, excellent food, excellent service, clean and the deck has all new furniture we will be back. I had to P soup and a hotdog and it was delicious.
