One of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life, I really like the wood fired pizza. The meatball and sausage grinder is great. Even the quesadilla was surprisingly good. The prices are low, I would be willing to pay $1 - $2 more for some of their dishes and still tip. I don't recommend dining at the location, because there is no space. But it's worth bringing the food home.
Okay, I am first to admit I am a pizza snob. I grew up in East hartford on Gino's which became proccacini's and them became whatever crap it is now. Since then I have lived in 4 other states and came back to ct. Pizza has been depressing. I tried everybody in town, neglecting the small joint down the street . Good grief was david portnoy talking out his rear, romas is an easy 9.5 or better. I get chicken, broccoli and bacon and it's to die for. The staff are awesome,...
Old school pizza shop. The food was great. Watching the gent cooking load the wood fired pizza over was a high point. Pizza is great. Super flavorful. Piping hot. We ate in the truck as it was rainy and they don't have more than one table inside.
