Food was excellent! Stopped in for some apps and drinks while we were out and about in the area. I HIGHLY recommend the wings. They were perfectly crispy and the sauces were phenomenal. Service was also great.
Had the fish tacos. They were a little soggy. Should have had a burger. Table was sticky. Atmosphere was good! Great service! I would definitely give it another try!

I came from New York to check out the new Pet Rainbow bridge which was beautiful !!! I came to Sawyers Restaurant & Bar and sat at the bar with my sister and friend. Our bartender was Katie! She was attentive, sweet and a phenomenal bartender. We need more bartenders like her! Always smiling!!! I 100% recommend! Thank you !
Love this spot! Only been there 2x but each time the food has been phenomenal, along with the service and drinks! Today I tried the shrimp and grits, and I must say….WHOA! Definitely a chef’s kiss moment ??

A bit of a dive bar that fits the character of the town. The guy who took our orders was cool. Some of the menu items seem a little upscale even. A good option overall if you don't want anything fancy. And right in the middle of town pretty much.
Parking: Catch this place at the wrong time and you'll have to walk a bit

One of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. It was super dry and tasteless. The bun was too big for the burger so I had to cut the ends of the bun off so I wouldn’t bite into just bread. There were only two people working. One in the front serving customers and one in the kitchen cooking. Due to this it took over 30 minutes to get our food (there were only two of us). Our drinks got watered down due to the ice melting (no air conditioning) and was not offered fresh drinks. There were so many good reviews so maybe we went on a bad day. Either way I can’t recommend and will not return.

The food here is excellent. The drinks are great and the atmosphere is amazing. The bar tenders are all really nice and mostly on point. When it gets busy sometimes it can take a while to get service, however, he bartenders aren't purposely avoiding anyone. It is possible the bar could use an extra server to help things along but otherwise this place is amazing and still within walking distance of downtown.
