We got the Royal combo and the chicken nachos and the bacon cheeseburger baskets and the buried treasure drink and a couple of coronas. It was all delicious. The only complaint I would have is the size of the burgers is getting flatter and flatter over the past few months. The food is always delicious and is one of our favorite restaurants around here. The staff is always friendly although occasionally they forget something such as a small plate or a pickle but it's no big deal it's still a delicious food. Please vacuum above the net and on it

I have been here 2 times now, and have thoroughly enjoyed my visits. From the food to the service, and even the live bands, everything was very enjoyable.

I ordered a crayfish and clam seafood boil. Usually i have good experience with them. This time was horrible. My boil had UNWASHED seafood. The clams were CAKED in mud/grit. Not the usual, oh little sand thats fine inside, no. This was outside, inside, and all in the bag. Dirt. I ate ONE clam before noticing all of this. That ONE clam was RANCID. Tasted like the smell of a dead animal on the side of the road. Gave my stomach a hellofa ride. I dont know what happened, but for it being as expensive as it is, this should not be happening.

Waiter was super pleasant, food was delicious. Went around 5 on a Saturday, really slow time for them, so I’d suggest that if you can. That place is probably hectic when it’s really hopping.

Surprisingly, everything was fantastic. The food came out fast and hot. We can on a night when a live band is playing. The band made the night fun.
Suggestions: my wife wanted more portions for her Mexican bowl. It would be nice if they offered options to purchase more portions.

My wife and I are not from Torrington, so we had never heard of this place. However, a friend gave us a gift card, so we checked it out. We had an early Friday evening reservation and were seated right away. Our server (Christian J) was fantastic - super friendly and attentive. We each had the small clam chowder as an appetizer. It was loaded with clams and absolutely delicious. For our entree, we shared the Seafood Basket for Two. The platter was huge - it honestly could have been called the Seafood Basket for Four. It was calamari, shrimp, shrimp rolls, and curly fries, served with various sauces. It was all very tasty. We took more than half of it home. They have live music every Friday and Saturday night, but the band didn't start until 8:00, and we had to get home to tend to our dog, so we didn't stay. Perhaps next time. All in all, a 100% great experience.
Cajun Boil & Bar in Torrington offers a lively taste of Louisiana in Connecticut. Their customizable seafood boils, featuring everything from crawfish to lobster, are the star of the show, cooked to perfection with your choice of spices and served in bags for a truly hands-on experience. Beyond the boils, the menu boasts other Cajun favorites like gumbo and jambalaya, alongside tempting appetizers and sides. The energetic atmosphere, often enhanced by karaoke and trivia nights, makes it a great spot for a fun night out, complemented by friendly and attentive service. While some find the prices a bit high, the generous portions and quality seafood generally make it a worthwhile splurge for anyone craving authentic Cajun cuisine.

Absolutely fantastic…… Delicious southern food for a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the place is clean and comfy. I got take out tonight and it was fantastic, shrimp boil (head on) and a couple tacos.

We always have the BEST time at Cajun Boil. It’s seriously the best place and they have LOTS of menu items! We recently celebrated my Birthday at the Boil and we had so much fun. The owner is SO kind. Torrington is so lucky to have Cajun Boil! My boyfriend loves the crawfish & I am obsessed with just about everything. 10/10!

The staff were very friendly (even my son commented on how nice they were). Offered a very diverse menu. Food was delicious, we had the 1lb shrimp & lobster tail, and lobster grilled cheese with truffle fries for our entrees and the churros for dessert. Yum! Looking forward to going back!
