The best hidden secret in Torrington. Great food, service, and atmosphere.

Called to order, rang for about a minute and went to voicemail
This place is a hidden gem! We got a caesar salad and a “cheesy trio” grilled cheese. Both were outstanding. Everything was fresh, portions large, and inexpensive.
It's a bar, but a very nice family-friendly environment. The wait staff were fantastic. The food was excellent! I had steak tips, and I was able to sub sweet potato fries for the mashed potatoes. My table mate ordered a burger with fried onion and Swiss cheese, and he was barely able to finish it! We had enough for another full meal the next day. Absolutely chuffed.
Dietary restrictions: I can't have tomato, paprika, cinnamon, or white potato... they were super accommodating, and my food was delicious.

My Husband and I dined here for the first time after a very busy week at our flower shop for Valentine's Day. The bruschetta was excellent as well as the hand cut fries. I had carrots, which were fresh and seasoned perfectly. My only complaint was that I was sitting under an air vent. The staff was immediately accomodating and turned on the heat! Great job!

Surprisingly delicious food in a very comfortable neighborhood dining setting. This is the kind of place I want to be a “regular”. From the parking lot, walking down past the patio that will clearly be so charming once the weather warms up, to walking in and being enthusiastically greeted by a kitchen staff you can’t really even see, just hear… I knew I was in my kind of place. Every single employee was so warm and friendly, the music was a fun 50s-70s blend at a perfect volume, the bar is well stocked, the specials were SO good and even the daily vegetable of carrots was elevated with a maple and slight heat kick that just knocked my socks off. We loved our sever, and got to see a sweet young gal get trained in the ways of waitressing… from appetizer to dessert every bite had been prepared with excellent ingredients and just enough creativity and skill to make it more special than you might anticipate. Service isn’t speedy but I’m there to enjoy myself and be comfortable. I felt like I was with friends and can’t wait to return. A new favorite!
Fourth time here and the food is always great!!!! I will continue to come. The food is always fresh and reminds me of what my grandma would make me. Also the drinks are out of this world.
I've never had a bad experience with The Cobblestone. We were excited to see a new restaurant move in, and one that isn't a generic pizza place! They have great daily specials, the food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. The parking gets a little hectic there so we tend to do takeout.

I've eaten at this restaurant multiple times and it's a great break from the Torrington pizza. That's everywhere. The food is always been good whether it's delivery or in-house and they're specials are really good. Also, the baked goods that we've gotten have been excellent!

You will not leave The Cobblestone hungry! Their bruschetta chicken dish and wings are delicious! The atmosphere is cozy, and their staff is always welcoming and personable. An essential addition to Torrington, highly recommend!

Bad experience! Waited 15 minutes for service no came. So we left. We were seated in the upper dining room.Another thing. NOT A HANDICAP FRIENDLY RESTAURANT.
Waitress was great.Wait time after ordering was seriously delayed. Nobody else was waiting to be served and it took over 30 minutes. Food was hot so it was definitely a kitchen issue.Meals were tasty. My favorite part was the onion rings. Not a fan of the coleslaw.Music was lively.

Very disappointed with our 2nd visit to this restaurant. Food was not fresh, poorly presented, tasted old. Wilted chopped taco fixings served as salad. Service lacking. Table wasn’t cleaned between customers. Seems to have lost original standards and charm. Too bad!
Came in for dinner with my boyfriend and everything was great ! We ordered the Chili, Cream of Mushroom soup (probably the best I’ve ever had!), mushrooms stuffed with sausage and cheese, and the balsamic chicken breast with sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes. We came in very hungry and left very satisfied. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Loved the music playing too :)
This is a perfect example of crass gouging that infuriates me.I work in a food desert. Nothing good for miles in each direction. When I found this place had a ten dollar chef salad I was delighted. After trying it, doubly so. Excellent in every way.Well someone must have noticed me eating there twice a week because the price magically rose by two bucks. Sorry guys, you lost a customer.
