Nutmeg Ice Cream is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Torrington. The ice cream is always rich, creamy, and packed with flavor — you can truly taste the quality in every scoop. They have a fantastic variety of flavors, from classic favorites to fun seasonal options, and it’s nearly impossible to pick just one! Their fudge is AMAZING too!
The staff is always warm and welcoming, happy to let you try a sample and patient while you make the tough decision of what to get. The place has such a friendly, small-town feel that makes every visit special.

We had our son’s birthday party at Nutmeg Fudge Company and could not have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, everything was seamless, fun, and stress-free.
The party space in the back was perfect for 10 kindergartners to run around, play, and just be kids. Kristy was an incredible host—her energy and enthusiasm kept the kids engaged with fun games like freeze dance and musical chairs. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a blast. And the ice cream cake? Hands down the best we’ve ever had!
The store itself is just as fantastic. The friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and mouthwatering sweets make it a place we’ll keep coming back to. Nutmeg Fudge Company is a gem for all ages-my girlfriends and I are already trying to coordinate a grown up chocolate class! We can’t recommend them enough!

I enjoy this little sweet shop. It has a decent variety of ice cream including vegan options which are great for people like me who are lactose intolerant. The staff are friendly and the shop has a few available seats to sit and enjoy. There's a space in the back for parties/small events. The available sweets are also a decent selection with even some older varieties of candies available.
The penchie fudge is way too salty. The peanut butter fudge does not have enough peanut butter flavor. ☹️

Ordered a fruity pebble Sunday which had no strawberries like site stated and three tropical smoothies. The first two tasted like nothing and the third actually tasted like pineapple. It was right before closing on door dash. Wouldn’t recommend.

The fudge is AMAZING!! This store is soooo cool!!! I ordered a vegan bday cake and it's BEAUTIFUL and reasonably priced!!! Their fudge is amazing can't wait to get ice cream and milkshakes! The owner is an amazing person, and everyone in tje shop is an absolute sweetheart! Highly recommend ...I will be back A lot!! They offer vegan ice cream and fudge AND ITS SOOOO GOOD!! Love you guys!!! So glad I moved here
