We were a party of 8 tonight. Tracie, the owner took care of us personally. She connected with us instantly. We are a crazy group of friends. Had been high bidders at the Warner annual Gala on a package which included dinner for eight. Tracie made us feel welcome and important guests. She especially cared for gluten allergies and assured us what items were safe for those in our party. She adapted the gift certificate to accommodate everyone in the party.
From appetizers to entrees and desert we were all impressed. As we reflect on the night there is no doubt we all will be regular patrons. Thank you Tracie!

The atmosphere was fantastic, perfectly complementing the comforting, home-style Italian cuisine. The service was warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning!

absolur=tely the worst service I've experienced from a restaurant in 10+ years. 10 minutes after we ordered our cocktails the waitress told us they had run out of the ingrediants. 20 minutes after we ordered our appetizer the manager wanted to argue with us about our lack of understanding that everythings made fresh - really? I think you had the clams for clams casino. we finally just canceled our entrees.

The waitress made great eye contact with my boyfriend and spent time talking with him. You would have thought he was the only one there! She brought him his mixed drink. She completely forgot the wine for me and only showed up with that after he had drunk most of his. I’m pretty sure our drinks should have been brought together. She brought him what he ordered and wanted to make sure he loved it and spent our time on that. She didn’t double check with the cook that my food was gluten and soy free (and brought out an entire plate of food I couldn’t eat). I was asked by the manager/owner if it was okay for them to replate the same vegetables despite that the mashed potatoes had soy and both had been exposed to the flour based sauce poured over the fish. I’m not sure when that would ever be okay? After my guy was done eating, the waitress then brought me a new plate of lukewarm food consisting of overcooked plain salmon, potatoes that I’m pretty sure were just boiled - no indication they were roasted, and everything was void of any seasoning. Not even the capers listed on the menu made it to bring a little zest. I asked for gluten and soy free, not food void of Italian passion, effort, life, and flavor. And finally, the waitress spent all kinds of effort coming back to our table to interrupt just about every conversation we were having. Ugh. There was no consolidation of trips and she should have guessed that my boyfriend wasn’t there for her. For future reference, when a COUPLE visits your restaurant, I’d say that spending all your attention on the man means that they won’t be back because he’s there with and for his girl, and she influences purchases. The point of a couple going out is to have an enjoyable evening being entertained together. A good waitress understands the importance of spending more time to make sure the woman is comfortable because it’s incredibly important to the man she came with that she is. As an Italian and a GM of his own high end Italian restaurant, getting the food right for me is extremely important to him for many reasons. We go out for the high quality experience not just to fill our stomachs. And not paying attention to what the cook is doing (or not doing) for special orders is just not good service. The apologies were nice and the environment is definitely iconic but it’s not nearly enough especially for the money we spent. So disappointed. We won’t be back.

Dietary restrictions: The cook didn’t know that flour is wheat/gluten or that a blended butter has soy. Neither the waitress nor the manager checked to make sure my dinner was made correctly.

Delicious, well prepared Italian food. Try the carbonara, pasta bolognese or chicken franchise. Staff is very attentive. Enjoy.

We were there a few nights ago. It was ok. The waitress was sweet. The bread was a bit dry and didn't taste fresh. One of our party got a salad and the dressing tasted like straight vinegar. The food was ok....I was happy to hear the pasta was homemade but it was very mushy. The veggie ravioli didn't really have any flavor; you couldn't really tell what the filling was. The manicotti was bland and mushy as well.It was edible but definitely could have used some more flavor/seasonings

The food is good. But l was shocked to be charged $15 for a single shot of tequila. That should not have cost as much as the mixed drinks people were getting. At least give me the choice of selecting “top shelf”. The previous time we went there, we used a $65 gift card my friend had received. The waitress came back and somehow, the gift card was for $60. Huh? Friend pulled out receipt, it was for $65. So, was gift card even run through machine, or did waitress just think my friend said the card was for $60 and took her chances? I won’t be back.

Had a the most delicious dinner tonight with friends that hadn't been before. We all were raving about our meals. Excellent!! Little slow on the service, but we had plenty to gab about while we waited. Can't wait to come back! This was my third time and it was just as good as when the former owners were running things. So pleased! I highly recommend the Shrimp and Scallop Livornese!
