Great spot. Relleno de papa was 5 stars. One of the best I had in a while. Cubano was pressed but not toasted/grilled (soft, not crispy) and only had a tiny thin slice of ham, but pernil was flavorful and juicy. Great spot for a quick bite downtown.

CHAMO VEGA DOES IT AGAIN! His previous eatery was totalled by a terrible car crash in December 2024 - his Mom is still recovering, so keep her in your prayers. Less than a year later, Chamo is back - and better! He's got the same great food with some added items and a very different vibe from Rosa Vega Bakery. There's a robot server, too - how wild is that?? Torrington has another reason to shout WEPAAAAA!!!

Food was delicious! The seco de pollo and plantains were fantastic. My son was obsessed with the robot and they had it deliver him cookies which made his day. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Straight up the best Latin cuisine here in Torrington, CT. I love the food here. Authentic that each time I order and eat it reminds me of back home when my mother cooked those great meals after I got off school. Chamo and Arlene are wonderful people. The staff is friendly and welcoming as well, oh and yeah, you have to try the Empanadas especially cheese with beef (My fav) The white or yellow with the beans and chicken or steak is to die for. Don’t forget them sweet plantains either. I’m a sucker for those and they deliver. So, if you’re in Torrington CT be sure to stop and get some food here. You won’t regret it. I promise you all.
