I got the Brisket and it was delicious and tender. Unfortunately it was mostly fat. Maybe just bad luck. The sauces were also delicious . The prices were very high but this is understandable given inflation for restaurant owners. Beef production is now controlled by 4 conglomerates so this doesn't help. I will be back to try it again soon.
Our entire family, six adults and two children, enjoyed a fabulous lunch here last Saturday. The food was absolutely delicious! We decided to go big and had the ribs, both types of sausage, pulled pork, brisket, pulled chicken, chicken leg and thigh, collard greens, Mac and cheese, coleslaw, cornbread and more. My first time @ Zach & Lou's and I was really impressed with the service, quality and freshness of offerings and portion size . Love the hometown vibe and personal service. Ribs, Brisket, pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, mac & cheese & cornbread were all excellent . A hidden gem on the outskirts of Torrington , Ct. Highly Recommended!
