We got takeout here because of all the good reviews and we were told it would take 1.5 hours for our food so we figured it was popular. We were sadly disappointed. We arrived and the restaurant was empty and the food was cold. The pizza was lackluster and the crust was like cardboard and burnt. The riceball was decent but we could tell it had been sitting out for a while. The saving grace was that the cannolis are good. For $50 for 2 small pizzas, a rice ball, and 3 small cannolis we were expecting much more.

I honestly don't know which I enjoyed more - the food or the hospitality! From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted as family. Francesco told me all about the process of making the pizza (he uses special flours) and his wife introduced me to the authentic arancini balls. Both were absolutely amazing (and as a former New Yorker, I have high standards for my pizza). I am so glad I discovered this little gem and will be back often!!

I had a wonderful experience today! Everyone I spoke to was so pleasant and they provided quick quality service. Everything tasted great and you could tell it was made with quality fresh ingredients. We have had all the “Italian” restaurants in Trumbull and were looking for something different after not being thrilled with their food. SicilEat was a great change of pace and we are looking forward to trying more of their food! Happy to support such nice people as well.

I tried it for the first time and it was good but not great. I asked for a chicken & sausage pizza and they said they only have sausage and some other combo that I wasn’t interested in. As you see in the photo there was little bits of sausage on the pizza. Wow!? I should have just ordered a cheese pizza.

PIZZA ALERT!SicilEats!!!On Monroe turnpike next to Mex on main may be the new best pizza secret in our immediate area of Trumbull. They don't have great visibility from the road and easy to miss when driving by, however their food has been consistently awesome every time I go! So far we've tried their Pizza, eggplant grinder, Riceballs (Arancini), meatballs, and a few items from their sicilian street food. The sauce that comes with the meatballs is on a whole other level and you'll want some bread to dip or save it to add to other dishes. My Dad that just visited us loved that he could speak to them in Italian and reminisce about Italy. I'm originally from NY and live in Trumbull. I normally have to leave Trumbull to pick up decent pizza from other towns. (Usually DJ's in Shelton when leaving work). If you are ordering take out this weekend then give this Italian family owned pizzaria your business and make sure to get the meatballs!

Great food. Friendly staff. Real Sicilian street food and real Italian espresso. Very good prices. Strongly recommended.

Food of CT

SicilEat is a nice addition to Trumbull with their unique Sicilian street food concept! Their case of street eats is the first thing you see when you walk in, and everything looks so tempting. Almost everything is wrapped in a soft brioche, and it reheats nicely! I think their arancini were the biggest I’ve ever seen, and I really liked that the meat filling included carrots and peas. It gave it a really fresh tasting flavor and seemed to be very authentic to what you would find in Sicily. The caprese salad and pasta dishes were all good, and the pizzas were more of a lightly baked New York style. There’s a lot to choose from here, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh! The owners were super inviting to every family that walked in during our time there. If I lived closer, I could see myself snagging some of those street eats for a quick lunch or dinner!

Owner is super friendly and inviting first off.Ordered a bunch of food but didn’t take many pics because I was to hungry.Arancini’s were amazing, have given up eating them since none are even close to Sicily (NYC, Arthur Ave, Boston little Italy)and these are as good they get.The brioche is perfectly compared to Sicily, just need a scoop of gelato in a brioche and I’m a happy camper.Finished off with the fettuccine bolognese which was a tad bit oily but the flavors were spot on. I would definitely get it again. Can’t wait to go back.

This place is full of great culture and great Italian ambiance. We walked into Sicileat on Saturday night and I was just amazed on how the team welcomed us. It's not everyday you walk into a pizzeria with that much heart. The owner, Francesco was so personable and helpful. We spent so much time talking and eating and it felt just like home. The food was absolutely amazing!! I can't talk enough about how great his rice balls are! I've had all types of rice balls from almost everywhere in NY NJ & CT and nothing beats his! I highly recommend trying them! Pizza is phenomenal, the best we have found here in CT, being former New Yorkers we have searched for a taste of back home and this is it! I'm so happy my family and I found such a great local place with great people and great culture. We will be back without a doubt!

Stopped by this evening to pick up our order and the wonderful lady who works there was more than happy to tell me about what all they offered while I waited. Even gave me a free slice of delicious sicillian pizza to try!The pizzas we ordered were excellent - cheesy and filling with tasty bacon on top! The arrancini and spinachini was amazing as well! We will definitely be coming back!

Let me start by saying the food is AMAZING, by far the best Sicilian Pizza around. Also had the Arancini (rice ball) and the street calzone. Both were excellent. And it gets better, this place is affordable.Go support this local eatery. Finally a place in Trumbull offering great food at great prices. Not often I provide reviews of any sorts but this place is a must try and I’ll be back often.

The food is way different than any other Italian restaurant I’ve ever had, but it’s different in a great way. This restaurant opens up a whole new side of Italian food I never knew existed. I would highly recommend trying it out, the quality of the food and service is top notch.
