My motorcycle broke down in Vernon right next-door to this diner. We called a tow truck and ended up spending about six hours at this restaurant. The staff was amazing. They kept us topped up with water when it started to pour rain. They made us come inside. they were so and so worried about us. I can’t say enough about them. Oh, and the food was really good too Top-of-the-line thanks guys
The New England Clam Chowder they had blew anything I got from New Jersey out the water. The fish and chips was flavorful and fresh and service was a delight. Everyone agreed to make this a more permanent food stop next time we travel north! Mama recommends the grilled chicken salad, Aunt Mama loved her cobb salad,
Six senior citizens. Six separate checks. Five were on time, the 6th arrived about 25 minutes later. Our server was Emma. She was awesome! Friendly, funny, efficient and patient. She answered all of our silly questions and made sure we had everything we needed while waiting. Once the 6th person arrived, she took our orders and refilled waters and asked if anyone wanted additional drinks. Our meals arrived together and every special request was on target.
