I got the Naughty Neighbor. Half fries, half mac & cheese. It comes with 8 nuggets. I got hot & was just the right amount of spicy.

Very disappointed. We would drive all the way to West Hartford for a Sando and were so excited for Vernon to open. We picked up three sandwiches and some tenders last night and it was night and day difference. The boxes were saturated in grease so bad it was leaking through the bag. The slaw and sauce on sandwiches was skimpy. The extra slaw that I ordered for my side was dry and had very little flavor. Not sure I will go back despite my love for a sando.

First time trying 0/10 waited in line for them to take everyone’s order behind me will not try again
While a Chicken sandwich can be expensive, it is really solid. Can't miss the beat, defeating KFC's own version. This restaurant seems somewhat upscale. The menu is decent and their food is really good. I really liked the Hot Honey chicken sandwich. It is really busy there.

The place is great good food but is not kid friendly no high chair for the little ones
Meh, seriously underwhelmed. Chicken tenders are good sized, I got mild and it was way too spicy and salty. It was served on a slice of plain bread with a couple of small pickles. Not sure what the bread is for and who wants salty pickles on top of salty chicken. Fries were also salty and meager sized.
Wheelchair accessibility: A little tight for a wheelchair to navigate

The food is amazing the chicken is always hot and fresh with an amazing crunch in every bite. You can't go wrong with the tender box its been my go to since they opened.

Had the pleasure of dining in while in Vernon and the Sando sandwich with medium heat and shake fries was delicious! The service was fast. There were lines periodically as it was near dinner hours with many doing take-out but, they managed. "Thank you" Aaron for taking time to speak with me and I hope those who are familiar with Nashville Hot Chicken will enjoy BIRDCODE more. Looking forward to Canton! P.S. Will have to try tenders next.

My husband and I decided to try it out running errands this afternoon, and we’re glad we did! The cashier explained the heat levels and sauces to us and we ended up getting sandwiches with fries and a drink. I got the country style since I don’t like anything spicy, and my husband got the mild, which he said was the perfect level of heat. Fries are amazing, crispy, and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. The sandwich was also great, on a nice, fresh bun. Considering their stuff is fresh not frozen, I think they probably cost just as much as KFC and are better quality too. Won’t ever be going to KFC again after this! My husband said this just may be THE best or one of the best chicken sandwiches he’s ever had in his life! Next time we’ll try the Mac and cheese and milkshakes.

I have visited the West Hartford location numerous times and find it to be an absolute gem. We call it our guilty pleasure. What I see in West Hartford is hustle, and customer service that is out of this world. A well oiled machine. What I’ve noticed from Vernon is significantly different. The pace was significantly slower with effort lacking. The ladies running the register looked tired and did not want to be there. The manager was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The tables are WAY too close together which makes it nearly impossible to get in or out if there is someone behind you. We felt like sardines. The food…we ordered the most simple tenders and found they lacked seasoning and were not cooked long enough as the breading was falling off and soft inside. If I were management I would work on motivating the team to pick it up a notch. They have big shoes to fill with West Hartford constantly doing a great job.

We used to love Birdcode when we ordered it in West Hartford, but eventually we found that 4/5 times we ordered, the chicken would be so greasy that it soaked through the bun which also made it mushy. Decided to give the Vernon location a try and sure enough our first order both burgers were soaked with grease. We've both felt sick since we ate them. Very disappointing because that 1/5 chance the burger isn't dripping with grease, it's spectacular. The staff in Vernon are incredibly friendly and it's a nice looking storefront too. Sadly, we won't be back because it's not worth feeling sick for 24 hours.

Just as good as west hartford location. Food was perfect. Naughty neighbor with mac and cheese instead of fries for the base is 10/10

Did not give any fries for two orders of combo tenders. Also did not put ranch in the bag. It is literally putting food in a bag and they messed up half of it. Tipped $7 for $40 of food before service and that is what they provide. Don’t bother tipping it doesn’t get you better service here.

Good food, bad location. I’ll come back for the food, the kids and I loved it. However, the location is a tight fit with tables to close and chairs back to back, and utensils inaccessible, makes it uncomfortable to be there. Besides that the food is good.
