Always a great place to go since the beginning of time one of the only carvel still standing at least in my area place has been around since I was a kid I'm still serving up the greatness took a picture of this one it is the vanilla with coconut if you like to buy chocolate ice cream it gives the same texture just without the chocolate and pistachio check out the photos give him a heart so that way people know where to go to get the greatest ice cream in the area of Vernon Connecticut

Gelina was awesome! She made me a whole cake in less than 10 minutes because I needed one for my birthday. She was so sweet and made the experience so much fun. I will definitely be back for another cake!!
I just stopped in to get my ice cream and the 2 employees (middle eastern male and female) came in from the back door. When I walked in, it was as if I got hit my a brick wall of cigarette smoke. I had such a hard time breathing because of how strong it is. When I returned to the car, my husband and children could smell it on me. Absolutely horrible for a company.

worst service ever! been coming here for a very long time & not once this ever happened! i brought the kids there for ice cream & the gentleman on the outside of the counter almost push my 8 year old daughter out the way. then the young girl behind the counter told us they’ll be with us in a minute & almost took 25 minutes…mind you we were the only ones in there! we left with nothing!! never again!!

I have been a loyal customer of this location for several years. I recently purchased a gift card to purchase a cake. The male employee advised they don't accept gift cards. When I pointed out to him that the Carvel website reflects this location accepts them, he proceeded to tell me his "gift card machine" wasn't working. He would not manually enter in the numbers, he just flat out refused it. I put in a complaint with corporate where they said they would look into it and then stopped responding. Can't get a response no matter what. Lesson learned... Do NOT buy gift cards with intentions of using here.

Carvel is always good for soft serve, but I decided I wanted some mint chocolate chip today and I was a little disappointed. Although it was the bottom of the barrel, I was still hoping it would be nice and creamy, but it wasn't. The shop looks a little tired but the young man that waited on me couldn't have been nicer and more professional.
