So I normally love this place. Food is good. Friendly staff. Love it. But today was not good. I placed an order for food and the Guy working behind the counter was sick. No face mask, coughing all over the place, blowing his nose next to the hand sink but didn't wash his hands afterwards. It was nasty. I paid before hearing all that and took my food reluctantly and tossed it out. With all the illnesses going around, I did not wanna eat possibly contaminated food. Idk if he grabbed gloves or what. It was quiet in there and didn't hear the sink running, not once. Lucky it was only 30 bucks lost but still, gotta be careful out there.

The best fish sandwich I have found anywhere! Better than what you get at the shoreline. You get a lot of tasty, thick, fresh fish on a great roll, with tomato and tarter sauce. I go 15 miles out of my way to go there!

Excellent!.... came in after a bike ride and got a whole belly clam dinner, which came with fries and coleslaw... it was delicious. The clams were really good, the fries were great, crispy and yummy, but we did open the container lid in the car so things wouldn't get steamed up.... everyone is just so friendly there and the fish is so fresh! Thanks

Fish and chip fillets are too thin, unfortunate you have to ask for extra piece to get a decent fillet. Fires are soaked in oil. My family always asks coleslaw on the side and it’s never put separately. The fish isn’t bad quality but seriously? The fries are swimming in a pool of grease, it’s inedible.

Charlie's Fresh Catch is a gem, tucked away in vernon, ct. The staff were efficient and friendly. The place is small, but the food is amazing!!!! I had shrimp tacos and fries, yummy ?!!! The fresh seafood available for purchase was very commendable! Very clean and the aroma smelled of spices that were pleasing to my senses. My only wish would be to have an area to dine(inside or outside). Nonetheless, I am definitely a customer for life and I have already shared my experience with a few friends!!!
